So this is the second one of these that I’ve had (my Mum “borrowed” my first when moving apartments to one that already had a washing machine) Quality: The product is made from a high density rubberised material that is recycled so not only is it practical but it’s helping the environment too. Performance: The mat is extremely firm allowing you to safely place your washing machine on top. Once in position the rubberised material prevents the machine from sliding/bouncing even on a 1600 RPM spin cycle. Using a sound level meter app it shows a reduction on my already relatively quiet washing machine drops the decibels rating by between 4-7 depending on the cycle type and volume of clothing in the machine) this might not seem like a lot but if your machine is located in an open plan kitchen living room like many modern apartments the difference is very noticeable! Customisation: Personally the size is already perfect and meets the requirements of my existing washing machine in my new apartment. However my previous one needed slight alterations to the corners to allow it to fit correctly at the rear of the machine around pipes. This was easy to cut using a carbon bladed razor blade knife (solid blade not snappable) it easily cuts through the rubber without leaving a mess. Final thoughts, amazing product and an absolute must have under any washing machine to help prevent movement and improve levels of noise reduction and vibration. Well worth the investment especially if you need to reduce the overall noise your machine makes due to its location.

Seems like it works well, the only difficulty was trying to get it under a washing machine when you only have the space and it's awkward and heavy. Time will tell.

I bought 2 of these - 1 for under washing machine and 1 for under tumble dryer as i live in an apartment so these are ideal for helping reduce noise and vibration for people living underneath. My sister lives in a house and is also ordering 2 for her washing machine and tumble dryer as she said what a difference it makes in reducing sound and vibration. High quality, perfect size - did not need to cut. Slip resistant, well packaged - easy to assemble just unwrap it.

I was sceptical this would help but it really has reduced the washing machine vibration enormously. Not entirely, but I’d say 80-90%, and my whole kitchen doesn’t shake! Well worth it, and (with an extra pair of helping hands) so easy to slip under the machine.

Excellent product. A bit tricky to Fit in place. Matt absorbs vibrations and reduces noise as I have raised wood floor which isn’t an ideal surface area and not level.

Had trouble with my washing machine machine moving from under the kitchen counter and walking from under it, so I decided to buy this mat and also a pair of ski sliders which also on Amazon from Bartyspares universal heavy and large appliance slider skis. These 2 items go hand in hand and could not have managed without them. We slid the washing machine out with the sliders underneath ( don’t pull on handles of sliders) then put mat in place with both sliders on top of mat then jiggled the washing machine on the sliders on the mat. Put washer in place, sorted out the front wheels, then pulled sliders out, job done and not moved again. I’m so pleased I bought both of these items.
