Smooth and shiny (but lacking texture)
I ordered the "Metal Back Paddles for PS5 Edge Controller, 4PCS Back Buttons for PS5 Dual Sense Edge Game Controller, Paddles Trigger Buttons Replacement Accessories(Black)" as future-need for replacement parts since I have a tendency to wear out my controllers - or at least their buttons. First thing I noticed is that these feel very nice. I hardly used the originals the Dualsense came with, but I know my tendency to play harder than I should and I wanted the durability of metal pieces. These back paddles snap in easily and seem to work as well as the originals. I do find them a bit slick feeling at times, and that probably has to do with the smooth/shiny finish - there is no texture to grip (the original paddles are textured slightly and don't feel quite as slippery to me). I think a "micro-texture" would have been a huge bonus. Over all, not bad for the currently listed price of $16.99.
