These are honestly really great for comic storage. Easy to assemble, they feel pretty sturdy, comes with dividers that have slots to lock in place, ability to stack with others and can lock the lid closed if needed. Gonna be using these as my go to and only storage bins.

Very durable and good quality. I much prefer these over cardboard boxes. I have a few of these bins. They will last forever and won't deteriorate plus doesn't attract bugs like a cardboard box will. Protects the comics very well. I use the provided separator only when bin is not full. I prefer to use tab separators to identify the differeny comics stored within the bin. I feel these are a must have for comic fans.

The BCW Short Comic Book Bin is relatively easy to put together. It is sturdier and more liquid-resistant than cardboard by leaps and bounds. Recessed handles on the sides make it easy to pick up, and the interlocking lid is fairly easy to close. The lid has sliders to "lock" it in a closed position, which is nice. I find the lid a little hard to open at times because I haven't found the sweet spot to pull at to open it easily. The bin comes with one partition that snaps into notches, making for a secure, non-slip partition. The container can accommodate up to four total partitions (conveniently, you can buy a three-pack of partitions separately). I briefly thought BCW should just sell the bin with all four partitions and raise the price, but then I recognized, collectors might have enough comics in the same series to fill an entire bin. Overall BCW is doing its best to keep the price reasonable. When you purchase all of the partitions, you can have five spaces within the bin for your comics. Depending on the size of your collection, or your organization system, five segments might not be enough, and the bin has no option to snap in additional partitions. Therefore, you might need to think of another way to partition the bin.

I’m just getting back into collecting and was looking for storage options better than the cardboard boxes so common in our hobby. I found these and am very happy with them so far. The only criticism is with the dividers. There are only a few places they can sit with how the box is designed. I understand why it was setup this way but this just won’t do for organizing a box. Separating by title or series or something. The only use I’ve found for them so far, and this might be their intended purpose, is to use them as a bookend for a partially filled box so the books don’t lean too much and bend from the weight. It serves that purpose quite well. I also like that these boxes are designed for stacking. I think the ad says they can stack up to 4 high safely. I’ve seen people online say they’ve gone as high as 6 high with no issues. I don’t have a need for that much just yet but it’s nice to know they are more sturdy than the cardboard boxes.

These are a little pricey but really not THAT bad. I got the five pack and have already ordered a second five pack and a single long one. They assembled easily for me and I didn't have a problem with the number of dividers as two were dedicated to my Spawn collection. That left me with extra dividers for the other boxes but I only used one per box on the other three. They are sturdy and I LOVE how they stack securely. About my only complaint is I'm not sure they actually fit 150 bagged and boarded comics. My Spawns, for example, I think hold around 100 comfortably. You can squeeze more in but there is no room to flip through them. Even tightly packed I don't think I fit more than 120 in. Overall I couldn't be happier with these and just how nicely they stack compared to cardboard ones is worth the price to make storage easier.
