My old blender broke so this was the kick I needed to buy this one. Granted, it’s more expensive than most blenders but everyone knows that with smeg. It is really good quality though, the parts feel better and sturdier than other blenders and of course, it looks fantastic. I’ve had it a while and not used it too often but so far no problems.

Every Christmas for the last 10+ years, I've baked cakes to give to family and friends instead of giving them a card (more personal). One of the ingredients is crushed pineapple. For the last 2 - 3 years, it's been neigh-on impossible to get crushed pineapple, so this year I decided to make my own. Using this machine I achieved the perfect results and exactly what I was after. The machine is very well made and without too many fancy settings that no one ever uses. I will be more than happy to buy the same one if ever this one faults 👌

Gutted, this is the second SMEG blender we’ve owned and the blades have come off again. It’s very annoying at 6am in the morning, when all of your ingredients are inside the jug, it blends for a couple of seconds and then the blade comes off. You then spend 10 minutes trying to locate the nut and blade. A complete nightmare! A replacement jug is extortionate! Come in SMEG, you’re a huge company, please supply replacement parts at a better price!
