These Baluster Swivel Connectors were perfect for our situation. There are plenty DYI YouTube videos showing people busting out nailed in balusters, removing a couple nails, drilling into the stringer, and installing new metal balusters. This method was not possible for us. Our old wooden balusters were installed with screws coming up from under the stringer, so we could not drill down into the stringer, and we were not going to rip the whole staircase apart. Thank goodness I found these! After we cut away the old balusters, we used a Dremel and cut off the screw ends. I was then able to punch the remaining part of the screws down in to the stringer and use these swivel connectors to mount my new metal balusters. I am so happy with the results! These are perfect for handrails assembled like ours, and either angled or flat shoes fit right over them. Great product.

The product is great. Some of the bag had no bolts. But great product in general
