Moondrop Free DSP USB-C Earphone Upgrade Cable Fully Balanced Audio Output DSP Cable

These are perfect for connecting my 7Hz Sonus to my Motorola Razr 2024+ No audible hiss. The cable doesn't tangle, nor create to much noise from movements. Sound is pretty great, I don't use the Free DSP app. I use Wavelet on Android. These have no problem pushing the Sonus IEMs.

I've only used it with my Dunu DaVinci so far and im definitely new to the hobby but the sound was really warm and yet very detailed/technical while srill satisfying my rather large internal bass head. I used to build harnesses for aerospace so I dont say this often but for $40. That's a quality cable

The cable itself is great, perfect if you use moondrop iems. Its Thick and feels very high quality and I love the added mic input, I have used it on zoom calls with no issues. The only gripe this the app to customize the EQ on the cable is absolutely terrible and does not work. I would say ONLY buy this if you want a high quality cable with mic input. If you are looking to EQing I would then avoid this product.

Worked excellently for about 40 days, then completely stopped. The cable will attempt to initialize and click in the iems, but cannot complete the handshake to tell the phone that it is usb c headphones. Multiple attempts to reseat the usb c connector and phone reboots did not fix. Other usb c cables and headphones and using the iems with other cables still work, but this one just won't.

I bought this product to add a level of convenience as I would not need an additional dongle adapter to play music. While it worked initially, a firmware update applied via the Moondrop Link app seems to have broken the functionality making this product inoperable. The build quality of the is decent for the price. Nothing exceptional, but not bad by any means. Connectors are stable and have no fitment issues. The volume control and play/pause button function well. If you use the cable without the app, then you should have no issues using this cable without issue. Where my problem with the functionality of this cable emerges is with the APP. As a DSP cable, the APP is a key feature to this cable. I downloaded the Moondrop Link app from the Google Play Store as recommended, and unfortunately, I had issues with the app from the beginning. My first issue was with it recognizing the cable. Sometimes it would appear in the app, and sometimes it would not. If I unplugged the cable, and then plugged it back in, then it would usually appear again. Setting up an EQ profile was difficult as it would often be disrupted by a pop-up requesting access to the device, which I would allow. I tried to see if this was an issue with my phone, but the same issue occurred on my tablet (Samsung Tab/ Google Phone) as well. After some fiddling, I was able to get it working and was able to listen to music without issue. This was fine until after month when I opened the app once more to adjust the EQ. When opened I noticed there was a firmware update. I went through the process, and it appeared successful (pop-up saying the firmware updated successfully), but after the firmware reset, there is no longer sound coming from the cable. After Multiple restarts, I was able to get it back working, but it was an unpleasant experience. If you have no need for the app, and are looking for a decent USB-C based cable, then this is a fine option that should serve you well. If you are looking to tune and adjust settings via the app, then you will probably have a rough experience until the app is vastly improved.

I couldn't find out how to import new EQ,s but if you know how to EQ etc this has massive potential it's just above my patience toralance limit

El producto cumple con lo prometido, la calidad de audio en cualquier monitor se escucha sublime, la calidad del cable es exquisito, si bien es un poco difícil encontrar dispositivos en los cual usar estos cables eso no quita su calidad 20/10

Super mic. Gute Audioqualität. Falls Probleme mit "pops" oder ähblich Auftreten einfach die bitraten in den Soundeinstellungen hochschrauben.
