The Berenstain Bears Visit the Dentist

My four-year-old has a collection of Berenstain Bear Books that we purchased from sellers on Amazon at dirt cheap prices. The Berenstain Bears have a wonderful way of teaching youngsters about life and the lessons of life. My child was scarred to death to go to his initial dentist visit last year. We read this book several times over the couple of weeks prior to his first dental appointment. The book didn't take away all his fears, however it certainly helped. He didn't cry on the day of the dentist appointment. Prior to owning this book, he cried at the very mention of a dentist. I ordered it for next to nothing, received it just four days after ordering it, and it was received in excellent condition. I would recommend this book, the seller of the book, and Amazon in generally to anyone looking for a bargain.

Helped my daughter want to go to dentist and brush her teeth, before this book my daughter was scared going to the dentist after reading this book with her it helped her a lot she loves this book.

I bought this book for my husband's second cousin (she's 7 yrs. old) because she had a huge fear of going to the dentist. After going three times with no luck, we had no idea how to handle her anxiety. Since I was tutoring her in reading, I thought of getting her a book to help her overcome her fear and when I saw the Berenstain Bears I was delighted! This book series was my FAVORITE when I was learning how to read and I remember reading these books to my parents. I purchased this book and gifted it and I am happy to report she had her first (successful) trip to the dentist just a few weeks after she read the book, X-rays and a cleaning! I'm so proud of her and I can't help to attribute her success to reading this book.

This is a book for many adults that I know!!!

I bought this book for my brother's dental office. My brother is a dentist. The workers at the front desk tell me that children read this book and also parents read this book to their little children. And some adults have read the book too while they were in the waiting room.

This book was a great addition to the few I picked out to help my 6 year old combat his nervousness for the dentist. He seemed to like the story and it definitely helped his fear. I also had him watch a Youtube video on going to the dentist in preparation for getting a cavity filled.

Like this book for helping my 4yo know what to expect at the dentist. You'd think that it would be outdated by now but it really isn't.

While this does not show every detail about a check up, shows getting a cavity fixed and a baby tooth pulled, it does go over most of the tools they use or could use. The tools that are pointy and scared me more as a child were shown and I think that’s a nice buffer. My daughter loves this book and she did great at her first dentist appointment. She was super excited to tell the dentist about the story too

Highly recommend to read prior to your first dentist visit. We bought 2 books this being one and read them a few days before which made the first visit to the dentist a success. there were no surprises and my little was able to get his teeth cleaned with the check up.
