Piranha 3DD (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray)

It is what it is: schlock horror at it's best! A throwback to the comedy horrors of the 80's such as Monster or Evil Dead 3. Gratuitous breast shots are used to demonstrate the 3D effect, along with in your face object shots reminiscent of the original 80's 3D films (first outing with polarisation) such as Friday 13th part III (I think that's the right number, I stopped caring when it reached Part CVI: Jason's Revenge on the queue in the Post Office, while waiting for his pension giro). But I digress; its full of gore, there is humour (mostly black comedy) and the 3D effect adds to the plotline.

this film was bloody gore.if your looking for a Gorey film filed with blood and guts.then you should watch this bloody Gorey film.this film has highly sexually contents.but this film will be Gorey enough for boys and girls to watch.so if you are looking for a highly sexually bloody gutty filmthen you should buy this film

Its a funny, cheesey B Movie... actually im not sure movie is the right word as this film, including credits is only 83 minutes. It begins with a few minutes of 'News Footage' which is basically clips taken from the first film with a news report voice over so really its about 68 minutes. This explains how they were able to squeeze both the 3D and 2D versions onto a single disc.Running time aside, this is quite an enjoyable film. Pretty much just more of the same so if you liked the first film then you should enjoy this. The acting is surprisingly good for the genre as is the special effects. Its not gonna win any oscars but should keep you entertained for 70 minutes and now that the price has fallen to under a tenner its good value.

OK, so it's not the greatest storyline, and there's plenty of ham acting. The stars of the film (the piranhas) are so obviously mechanical, but you have to take it for what it is - a bit of fun! Some great 3D shots and 'The Hoff' is really cool. We liked the way the fish jumped out of the screen at us - made us jump. Don't expect a brilliant plot, but definitely worth getting at this reduced price.

pretty good film and some awesome 3D scenes. the whole film is daft but also worth watching.not for kids though.i also found that it wasn't long enough as I was disappointed when it finished.

After the recent horrors involving mutated piranha, the fish with attitude return to dine out on more skinny-dipping sex-mad sea-going folk. Taking them on is the Baywatch/Knight Rider star humorously sending himself up, along with a former would-be victim who must now overcome his fear of water (not easy when you have two false legs).Despite all the criticism it's taken, this film is non-stop hilarity and entertainment from beginning to end. It even manages to out-do its predecessor for outrageously inspired black comedy moments. It's over-the-top, in-your-face and not ashamed of it. A gem.

Double the rubbish

There's no way you could describe this as high art.But then for a movie called 'Piranha DD', you wouldn't expect it to be.It's gorno comedy and has Hasselhoff in it.What's more all the irritating characters get eaten brutally and bloodily by mutant piranha from the Earths core, or something - if only real life was like that!Oh, and ***SPOILER ALERT*** the piranha learn to walk at the end.
