Yes, this battery is for iPad Air 2 including MGTY2LL/A variant.

The battery I bought from you charges to 99% no matter how long it charges. Is there a problem with the battery?

Could be that you need to first deep cycle it at least twice so it can lean the battery performance. Let it run down below 7% and die, then fully charge it up. It worked for me.

Does this include the adhesive strips for the screen?

Yes, mine did. You literally have everything. I used I think a knife to get the old adhesive off the back. I was very careful at that point since you want it to fit back flat. You should also be very careful to get the strips on just so. I would actually start a strip then peel the backing away as I applied it. You have to know that the battery won’t last as long as the original apple battery. But it will work fine.

Is the battery changing hard to do?

I ruined the iPad when I attempted this. It worked, but I cracked the screen when I opened it. Then when I tried to checkout the connections, they ripped which also means the whole LCD has to be replaced. The cables connecting the LCD are fragile and they ripped. The cost of a new LCD is more than the iPad was worth. I replaced an iPhone battery successfully, but the iPad was more difficult for me. I Should have taken this to the experts.
