I tried this to fix a scratch on a glass table top curing it with a UV light, but it id not work. Perhaps it needs to be a deep crack. The filler comes out of the scratch when removing the excess with a razor blade.

Yeah I’m not sure if this was user error or what. I tried this in three mirrors and one window pane. The mirrors never dried even after a few days. The sheets just came right off and the liquid still wet underneath. The window was almost the same. But dried a little better but not enough to fully cure the glass and make it look seamless. Overall not a winner

Icicle feel down from a tree and cracked the corner of my windshield - very visible hairline crack around the 2”x2” corner, edge-to-edge. I could even see the refraction change when I pushed onto the cracked corner lightly with my finger. New car, only 350 miles on it. I was hoping to conceal the crack as shown on the ad photos. Filled the crack, taped it and used epoxy-curing UV light as instructed. The crack was less pronounced, but still very visible after the treatment. I repeated the process. Wet material conceals the crack pretty well, but when it polymerizes, it recedes and reveals the refractive lines. I ended up giving up on this kit and using free windshield replacement mandated by the Massachusetts insurance. When the weather improves a bit, I will try this kit again to fill a star crack on another car’s windshield and report back.

Had a 1/4 inch chip from stones on windshield. Product worked fine but do not expect the crack to disappear. the fix came out smooth and appears to make sure there will be no further cracking but the original damage looks the same. The instructions should be augmented with 2 or 3 pages. You need cutters to open the dispenser. It would help to have some idea how long to leave in the sun. Absent a recommendation I left it out 3 hours which seemed to work. Overall seems to do as advertised.

The kit comes with a push pin to force open the crack after the liquid is applied. The first few time I neglected to do this, and the crack spread. After finally using the push pin, the crack has not grown.

I have a class ring with a glass stone. It got chipped and the jeweler said just use a resin crack repair kit to fix. I bough this one and it never dried. I followed all the directions and even purchased a black light to dry it. nothing worked. It was under black light for over 2 hours. Never dried. This was about a 3/8 inch chip on a ring. No way this stuff works on anything bigger. Not worth the effort to return or get a replacement. Buyer beware

Not working

Bought to fill in a hairline crack in my side window. It's been a few weeks and crack has not grown and a lot harder to notice
