Fabulous health tool
I ordered this for my daughter who is a serious in-training professionally-tracked ballet dancer. Weight is very important to the female ballet dancer due to the required aesthetic of the art. However at the same time, strenuous demands are placed on the body so optimal nutritional support is vitally important or debilitating injuries will occur. My daughter's ballet trainer told her she needed a scale to measure body fat and body muscle. Not only does this scale do that, but it also measures visceral fat as well. I was interested in that after a doctor shared with me about visceral fat. Up to 10 people can be programmed into this scale device, based on gender, age, and height. From there, the scale measures weight, body fat %, water %, muscle %, bone %, along with visceral fat, BMI, and even metabolic age! I have used this scale for myself and have already noticed my metabolic age dropping in the couple of days we have had this. A doctor of ours once told us that people who weigh themselves frequently are overall healthier and have healthier weights. He said that scales are helpful tools to be used for health. This has already been a fabulous tool for me, and I was not supposed to be the intended user. With all this information, it certainly makes me aware of where I currently am and I am able to set new objectives and goals accordingly to guide my daily habits. Another brilliant feature about this scale is that it recognizes the person who steps on it so you don't have to refer to your programmed user number. The only thing I do not know about this scale is how long will it last before the digital components get glitchy and it doesn't work anymore? I have already gone through 2 digital scales and it is a pain to hunt and invest in what you believe will be a good one and it doesn't even last 3 years. Doesn't sound that bad, until you consider that every home appliance or home electronic item we purchase breaks down every few years then we have to spend time shopping for something that we thought we had taken care of and could now forget for many many years. Then there is the ever happening replacement cost too. I notice things do not last as long as they used to, or I am purchasing all the wrong items! I do not want to spend my life hunting shopping for items that I expect to get it and forget it! I have had to do this with a few refrigerators, for example, and also five times with scales. It's just wasteful too, and I hate waste. So I hope this one will last a very long time, much longer than 2-3 years.

Absolutely in love with my body fat scale!
I purchased these body fat scales (one black & one white) a couple of weeks ago to closely monitor my body composition since my wife and I are constantly trying to improve our shape and track our fitness progress. We have owned a Fitbit Aria scale for a couple of years now and we did a comparison of the two for both of us, since we felt that the Aria was not accurately reporting our body composition. Overall, we both prefer the Inevifit over the fitbit. Starting with the setup, it is extremely simple to follow their instruction video since it takes about a minute to setup each profile. It measures your weight, % of water, % of fat, % bone, % of muscle, BMI, visceral fat and BMR. This is exactly what we need to keep track of our real fitness process since weight alone does not tell us much of our real progress. The only thing that the Fitbit Aria had over the Inevifit was the phone syncing capability, which we never use due to the hassle of needing to sync up every time. With the Inevifit all the information is displayed simply and easily on the screen and it can be easily “recalled” with the last reading function. Additionally, the Inevifit body fat scale comes with great customer service and a 5 year warranty that really gives me a great peace of mind. Pros: Price, features, accuracy, warranty, customer support, ease of use Cons: none found after many days of use.

Great scale, no app needed
Finally found a good looking and easy to use scale that measures muscle %, fat %, water %, metabolism age, etc on the scale itself rather than through a required app (I prefer to enter my info myself in whatever app I chose). Easy to set up for multiple users. Very accurate and quick to read. Previous scale beeped when the measurements were complete, which made it easier to know when to step off, but after a few times you get a feeling for when it’s done (maybe 5 seconds or so). Would definitely recommend for folks that prefer not to have an app or want to choose their own tracking platform.

As I see it, INEVIFIT Body-Analyzer Scale Pros and Cons
First to me is "Why are you buying a scale? What are you trying to achieve?" I my case I owned a very high quality totally German designed and German Made scale, that gave accurate, repeatable, measurements of "Weight", "Body Fat %' and "Body Mass". That scale was lost, or stolen, during a household move. So I started searching through physical stores, and across internet venders seeking a viable replacement. Searching for a quality replacement scale is not the most fun task. The "brick and mortar" stores seemed to love cheap, poorly made and limited function stuff. The internet may provide specifications, but the touch and feel gap is obvious. I bought a INEVIFIT 1-BA002. Please NOTE I HAVE ONLY USED THIS SCALE for 3 days. So to save endless reading here's how I place the "Pros & Cons". PROS: - High quality manufacture and construction. - Solid, hefty, stable - Ease of getting your feet onto the right place on the electronic sensor elements, good, simple. - Reading Display: For "weight" large enough to see clearly and accurately repeatable. CONS: - Reading Display Alternative Functions such as body fat, water %, etc. hard to see while your standing on the scale. - The display has 2 separate "information displays" that alternate. Each panel shows twice. The data is in fairly low print point size AND lasts about 7 seconds. -My God! What great genius decided you should read a panel full in information. One you are squinting at, in about 7 seconds. Why not scroll at full display size to each factor? - We are a family with 3 Medical Doctors (MD's) and everyone turns their Cell Phone/Mobile phone camera on, sets it on a reachable counter. Then they photograph the two 7 seconds displays so they can untangle what was announced afterwards. It may not be a "deal breaker"- the info it is there, and of varying importance depending on the goals you are pursuing. BUT it is not user friendly and needs some rethinking by the designers and builders. I hope this is useful to some folks. Professional Nomad -

Inaccurate.
Inaccurate. The weight seems accurate but some other values given for body composition are inaccurate. They fluctuate rapidly. I can step off the scale, back on, and it will give a different reading. It mismeasures my body composition. For example, it states my body fat % as 30%, which is highly inaccurate. I lift weights, run, and swim daily and am lean. Other methods of body fat measurement indicate that I am approximately 20-21% body fat. My husband's measurements are also incorrect. I have tried recalibrating, but it does not make a difference. The scale is on a flat surface, and the battery does not appear to be the problem.

Very nice scale... Worth more than it cost imho.....
This is a very nice looking scale. It's also super easy to use. It does seem accurate for weight. Though my previous scale was weighing me 3 lbs light.. sadly... I won't rewrite the instructions but you press Set and step on it and it walk you through set up, which is pretty quick. Like any piece of equipment with limited input.. essentially, your feet on sensors... it may not measure BMI the way a lab would... but units like BMI seem reasonably correct. So use these as relative numbers. What you start with is your baseline. Then make progress and let this give you the indicators on how you're doing. I can't speak to reliability yet. We've only had it a week or so. But it seems well built and not glitchy at all. So hopefully it will last. If you're looking for a scale to give you weight plus some other metrics like BMI, this is a good choice and the price is very fair as far as I'm concerned.

Doesn't Actually Measure Anything
I tried to send a long, detailed message to the seller for help, but when I pressed "send" Amazon said it couldn't handle the request and I lost the whole message, so I'll put the info in this review instead. The scale appears to measure your weight then come up with your percentage fat, muscle, and bone based on your profile and an algorithm rather than actually measuring anything. Measurements taken one right after another: if my profile is set to female, I'm 31.7% fat, if male I'm only 19.5%, if female athlete 26.9%, male athlete 13.3%! A 2.6 lb weight gain overnight showed a 1.1% fat increase, which is impossible. Further evidence that it isn't measuring anything other than weight: If I step off right away after it gets my weight (which is the first measurement and is super quick), the scale still goes through all the "measurements" while I stand beside it watching in disbelief, and gives me a readout on how much body fat, muscle, bone, and hydration I have, when I wasn't even on it during the BIA process. I've been lifting heavy weights and making great gains in my loads at the gym, yet any weight gain is calculated as an increase in body fat and decrease in muscle, probably because my profile says, "Female." It also says I'm 31.7% fat (or 26.9% if using the athlete profile, even though I don't exercise over 10 hours/week) when a recent doctor's visit's notes in my medical record said, and I quote, "Patient is very thin and muscular." I would return the scale but it took me this long to figure out it was the scale instead of me and the return window closed about a week ago. I plan to take out the batteries for storage and go back to my old scale that only gives weight, as it's much less frustrating and misleading. At least I can assume based on clothing fit, tape measure, and appearance that a weight gain is from muscle gain or water retention rather than getting discouraged by a scale telling me it was fat. Update 09/04/2018: An Inevefit representative contacted me regarding my review and offered to accept it's return for a full refund (although past the Amazon 30-day return) as well as some other options. He explained that the scale did take a quick BIA reading when I stepped on it briefly then back off, and what I was watching was the loading of the results. He also confirmed the results are based on a combination of the BIA reading and an algorithm using my profile (age, gender, height, weight, etc) and that it isn't accurate for some types of people. The algorithms were put together by measuring the body composition of many people using a DEXA scan (the "gold standard" of body composition measuring), using BIA, and obtaining their profiles. My body composition (muscle mass in particular) is unusual for my profile (particularly my gender and age). I'm leaving the product review at one star because I'm still very disappointed with the scale itself, but I will give the seller 5 starts for customer service.

Great Accurate Scale with Nine Stats on a Large Screen
This was a great buy! Really, do you want to be carrying your Smartphone into the shower with you so if you want to weigh yourself before or after a shower, you can see the results on your Smartphone??? That's the latest from other bathroom scale manufacturers on sale now. I'm not against using my Smartphone but before or after showering just to see my weight and other statistics? It seems to me a dumb use of technology. The INEVIFIT Body-analyzer scale presents results on a large digital readout panel that you can easily read while standing on the scale. You get nine readings altogether--weight, body fat percentage, body muscle percentage, body bone percentage, body water percentage, visceral fat, metabolic age, body-mass index, and estimated calories needed per day. Virtually no other scales offer this many readouts each time you weigh yourself. You can, of course, just pay attention to weight and disregard all the other numbers, but I bought it for the other stats. What the product listing does NOT tell you is that the scale recognizes who you are (if you have multiple users) by your weight and activates itself just by standing on the scale. It shuts off automatically too. You get five readings on the first readout, then the screen automatically changes to the remaining statistics. It will then recycle a second time through both screens automatically without you ever touching a button. So you get two chances to see all your stats. If you need still more time, you can hit a button to show the screens again. My favorite stat is metabolic age (how old you compared to your actual age)--probably because I am 7 years younger than my actual age. But given my other stats, that reading is very realistic and I'm a guy who knows a thing or two about healthy living. The readings are very consistent for me, so I would say this is very accurate. Of course, they should vary a little from day to day because you can change a bit, but I get nearly identical readings if I stand on the scale a second time within a short time. Very attractive price for what you get. I junked my four-year-old biometric scale which was accurate but you had to bend over and push buttons to see anything beyond your weight. This one is much better. Very slim scale--has a designer look to it.
