Connector for Collars and Lead, Red

Got this for a friend with hand mobility issues and she loves it. Very easy to put lead on and off, but strong enough to hold more than I thought. The dog is a mini poodle and I have no worries about him ever pulling the magnets apart. Great invention :)

I WOULD BE RETURNING THIS IF I HAD NOT CUT IT OFF THE BOARD it came attached to. This item is a good idea but there is no way to connect it to a dogs harness/collar without using an addition ring which you have to buy as an extra so if you have small dogs which I do it means the part dangling from the harness/collar is far too long.

I have arthritis and Raynauds which means when it's cold, I cannot risk taking off gloves on hands that are already clumsy. This is brilliant! I have a 14kg Tibetan Terrier who wears a harness - it's easy to get to the connector on her back. I wouldn't leave the magnet on her in the house though. Only gripe is the catch is very easy to open while you're holding the lead-part of the connector - especially in thick gloves! A more definite 'click' to let you know it had engaged would be helpful, and maybe a twist to open the catch, not just the squeeze on the two buttons which is so gentle you can do it by accident.

We bought our first one eight years ago but lost the collar piece, so bought another. No fumbling about trying to open clips, dog can be connected or loosed even with mittens on. Only tiny problem, the dog often sticks to things when off lead. A metal water bowl is not good!

This Magloc, first seen on Dragons Den is a clever concept, and is easy to use. As with everything there are a couple of draw backs which aren't immediately apparent. Firstly, obviously its a magnetic device, and you place it on the dog collar ring where you would normally put your metal catch, the Magloc unfortunately attaches itself to anything metal, the ring the buckle the dog tag etc, it certainly doesn't jump onto the receptacle on the lead, with a young pup this has just changed one problem with the metal catch to one where you cant see the other because the magnet has caused it to stick somewhere else. From a safety perspective I would not recommend this for a puppy, they are extremely agile and flexible and my pup can turn its head around and bite the Magloc such that it releases, not a desirable feature as you can imagine. Probably great for bigger dogs, but I'm not convinced.

Bought to replace one of the same type that had broken. This broke at the same place after 3 months. Dog (12kg) got loose. Do not buy.

It’s amazing so easy to use highly recommend it. I have had elbow surgery and can only manage with one hand great product and speedy delivery.

We'd bought these for our dogs before but I lost one of the dog leads. These do save fiddling with a clip, which is handy when it's cold, but the piece on the collar does stick to the dog tags and anything else magnetic. Our Jack Russell sometimes takes the biscuit tins with him when he goes into the garden (they're on a low shelf by the door). And, our young Labrador does break the connection from time to time. She does have the pulling power of a small horse, when she puts her mind to it. Overall they're pretty good.

Ich benötige oft eine schnelle an- und ab-lein Funktion ... diese habe ich hiermit gefunden. Ich habe Magloc an der Kenndecke/Geschirr befestigt und das funktioniert einwandfrei. Kann diese Lösung nur weiterempfehlen. Schnelle Lieferung - tolles Produkt :-)
