I just started my journaling journey, and this notebook absolutely fits the bill. Here is why I love it: Plenty of Space: With 300 pages, I don't have to worry about running out of room anytime soon. It’s perfect for someone like me who wants to make writing a daily habit. Beautiful Aesthetic: The vintage leather-like cover looks and feels much more expensive than it actually is. It makes me feel inspired every time I pick it up. Masculine without being ostentatious. Great Paper Quality: The pages are thick enough that my pens don't bleed through, which makes the whole experience much more satisfying. Functional Design: The built-in bookmark is a lifesaver for quickly finding where I left off. If you are looking for a high-quality, high-page-count journal to get started, I can't recommend this one enough. It’s a fantastic value for the price!

I picked this up as a gift for my husband because it fit his personally, felt a little more fancy than a regular pad, and was such a good price! For $6 I actually wasn’t expecting all that much from it. But it’s just arrived and it’s got that nice bendy feel a journal should, the design on the front is embossed onto the very nice and smooth faux leather, and there’s a bookmark ribbon. The pages are beautiful, spacious and have room for the date etc, and they’re also edged with gold, matching th ribbon. The attention to detail is really nice, I might end up coming back for more of them they’re that nice.

I recently filled up a journal and I was looking for a new one to start writing in. I wanted something that was a little more fancy. I like this one because it has 300 pages. It has a simple design on the front, but it’s still quite pretty. I love the matte black color of the journal itself. It feels so smooth and seems to be a pretty good quality. I like how there is a bookmark attached so I can easily open to where I can put in my next journal entry. The pages do feel a tad thicker than regular paper, which is a good thing in my opinion. I like to use blue gel pens to write and this doesn’t bleed through whatsoever. When you have the book open, it doesn’t lay flat on its own, so you have to hold it down with your hand or whatever item. Personally, I’ve rarely used books or journals that lay flat on their own without closing. Overall, I am satisfied with this journal and will be writing in it daily.

Edit: I have only used this for a few days, but the corner on the top front of the journal has separated the cover from its backing. I'm gluing it down, but wonder if this is going to become a larger problem. Pros: This is a lovely journal. The cover feels good and is not too stiff or two soft. The brown is lovely and provides a feeling of leather. Pages lie flat. The paper is thicker than printer paper but not as heavy as some pages. I am using a fine point fountain pen and you can see that there is writing on the other side, but not to where it is heavy visibility. I like this larger size much better than the small ones. Cons: I don't like the notes at the top of the page. I think it ruins the free flow of the journal. And what is this page of personal information at the beginning? Why would you give that to just anyone who picks this up? Oh, I know -- if you leave it somewhere whoever finds it can get it back to you. No. Just no. This is not college ruled. It is normal rule in any notebook. I've attached a comparison of college vs. this page. I don't like that at all. I only ever use college rule, and I find it annoying using this and having all that space left because of the wide rule. If I ever used it again I would get it unlined (if available) and put a page of college ruled notebook paper behind it that had been darkened to show through the page. For that alone it has four stars instead of five. I'm aware that this one isn't described as college rule, but it is a huge annoyance to me in a journal. YMMV.

Nice book for dated memos. Inexpensive. And nice feel and visual appeal. I plan on using this for a varied reason. Good weight paper and nice room to write on lined pages. I love the color.

These are beautiful journals. The cover and paper are very nice quality, especially for the reasonable price. I've purchased one large (for myself) and two smaller sizes (for gifts).

This is a cool little journal. The pages are smooth and nice for writing. There are designation spots to mark the date, day of the week, memo number, and even the weather! The binding is tight and the cover and back are of high quality. It has a lace bookmark attached to it which is helpful for marking my place. The engraved style graphic on the cover is a nice touch as well.
