Colgate Charcoal Dental Floss, Mint - 2pk

I was a Glide floss user for years until my old stock ran out. Somewhere along the way, Oral-B changed Glide floss to a different product I can’t use. I tried several products before trying the small samples of Colgate floss that work great! The Colgate floss I purchased from this seller appears the same in every way. However, future stocks may differ. The floss I got was made in Malaysia, has no scent, and no charcoal that I could detect. Perfect! I’m hoping for more of the same next time I order.

Sturdy and doesn't shred. The texture is rough enough for my tightly spaced teeth to really clean.

Don't know about charcoal but it resists shredding. Not as good as their original product but decent performance. Don't have threads between teeth.

I'm not sure what the "charcoal" means in the description and I don't think mine is mint. That said, I like this floss. I used Glide floss for years, it was the only floss that would go through my tightly spaced teeth. Even at the dentist, the hygienist needed to switch to Glide for those teeth. But due to PFAS etc, Glide changed the product and it's awful, not at all like the original one. I've tried other flosses since and this is the only floss that made it through the tight spaces. To be honest, it's not as good as Glide was, but I was thinking I'd never be able to floss that area again and this floss worked in that area (not as smoothly as Glide, but it made it). UPDATE: I downgraded my review to 4 stars. It's a fine floss for most folk. But I'm still struggling with getting it between my tightly spaced teeth. With a bit of effort, I can push it in, but have a hard time getting it out except by just pulling it through. So it's a bit better than some flosses, but nothing like the old Glide (I'd buy the old Glide, PFAS and all, if it were still available).

I love this floss. It is thick & grabs the food, just as it should.

Completely false ad. There is no charcoal. It isnt listed on the package. Cannot be seen or felt on the floss.

I have no idea why they have the word "Charcoal" in the name. At least this time it did not come from India and take 6 weeks (via Wal-Mart). It is a good floss and resists shredding.

I love the texture of this floss. It’s not too thin and actually feels good on my gums to include sensitive areas.

Whilst Colgate Dental Floss is not my primary dental floss, they have the unique ability to slide into difficult areas smoothly when other dental flosses have either gotten stuck, or have left pieces between teeth that the original dental floss is unable to remove. Seriously, it's a lifesaving, "essential to have." Not, mind you, that this Colgate floss is not able to become one's daily, "go-to" usage ... it can fulfil this role very well. I've simply, attached myself to another brand which I'm happy with, but, need this Colgate floss for the above-mentioned "sticky moments" to get me out of the dwang. It's not at all unforeseen that this Colgate floss may become my first go-to usage. Buy it for all the above reasons ... you need to.
