Faulty but accurate DC amps
I bought this after watching a you tube review, but mine had issues; 1) when measuring volts the display would take 2/3 seconds to register the reading. Ok if you're just taking the odd measurement but if you are moving from point to point the delay is unacceptable. 2) The frequency measurement would not function correctly, AC mains frequency was displayed but I tried several frequencies between 1khz and 1Mhz with an amplitude of 5V and these would not register, spec says >1V up to 20Mhz. On the good side the DC amps recorded very accurately for a clamp-on against my in-circuit Fluke(F), ie, F=100mA, Owon(O) = 97mA, F=200mA, O=198mA, F=500mA, O=497mA, F=5A, O=4.99A. It was returned, not sure if I'd try another one which is a pity given the easy and accurate clamp-on DC amps
