I had to change my review as at first The battery is OK and it drains very fast but after couple of charges it started to last longer so in standby it lasted for days. I recommend it if you can get the original one. But still installing it was not simple I had to use professional help.

Amazingly this seems to work great with my ancient iPad Air (first generation). Replacing it was not the easiest repair so be prepared for at least 2 hours of delicate work. It helps being super organised and read all the instructions on iFixit before starting. After replacing the battery I followed the advice by the manufacturer doing a few charge/discharge cycles. Battery seems to be working fine two weeks after the replacement. Fingers crossed it will work fine for at least another year or two.

This replacement battery fitted our ipad 5 perfectly, and has been the ipad working perfectly well ever since. Arrived bang on time! Great price too! Before ordering, I noted there were a lot of negative reviews regarding this product, but I haven't found anything negative to say about about it or the service! Very good buy!

IPad keeps restarting. Do not know if it is the battery or the iPad. It just keeps restarting after The battery was swapped
