Basic and Clinical Pharmacology 14th Edition

Easy to digest information in almost a lecture-like tone, but so very boring to slog through.

I like the book!!!! and the companion book! Pharmacology is a challenging subject. but these texts are helpful!

Exactly the book I needed! Also for a used book it’s actually very clean, it was basically brand new!

Grabbed this for a psychopharmacology class and price was much cheaper than original price (which I love - try to save coins where I can)!

Recieved the book is new condition, it was still wrapped in plastic and there were no "dog ears". This book is also very easy to read and has very clear and easy to understand diagrams.

This book needs a alpha list of all the abbreviations used, so that if you don't start at the beginning where abbreviation are defined you can know what they are talking about.

Book came as expected, brand new.

Este manual de farmacología no es el más extenso disponible comercialmente, pero es muy bueno. En tiempos de estudiante, ya lo conocí en su traducción al español, y lamentablemente, al repasarlo ahora, es de reconocer que en las materias básicas que sustentan la Medicina, los textos españoles siguen siendo muy inferiores y anticuados en su concepción, no así los plenamente prácticos, seguramente porque para la práctica no hacen falta laboratorios, solo experiencia.

Bin Assistenzarzt im 2. Jahr mit besonderem Interesse an Pharmakologie. Halte das Buch für spannend geschrieben, sehr praxisnah und gut verständlich. Trotz der Fülle an Informationen bleibt bereits beim Durchlesen viel hängen - gewisse Basiskenntnisse sind sicherlich hilfreich, ansonsten könnte man doch etwas überfordert sein. Meiner Meinung nach ein Must-have für angehende Internisten, Anästhesisten, Intensivmediziner, Psychiater und Forscher. Für Medizinstudenten wohl eher zu ausführlich, für solche ohne besonderes Interesse an Pharma gibt's aber noch die 'Examination and Board Review' Ausgabe.
