I use this once a week but I would say that it gets the job done. You don’t have to use too much when you apply it on your skin, you also have to make sure you use it at night and use sunscreen as retinol makes your skin more sensitive. Overall I would say that it’s a good product and I would definitely buy it again since the product’s ingredients are very very safe, it doesn’t have any harmful, carcinogenic ingredients or have pollutants and endocrine disruptors.

Retinol is a brilliant product , this version is not the concentrated product so can be used without caution. Nevertheless always use sunscreen but especially when using retinol

Feels great on the skin and soaks in well. I love the tinted pump bottle which provides UV protection for the formula (prevents UV degradation) and means we aren't constantly pumping air into the bottle (like with dropper bottles) because the pump is secured on. It feels more nourishing than others I've tried and it might be because of the added squalane. Though the serum doesn't have an oily feel on the skin. It feels gentle and doesn't sting or burn but keep in mind your own skins tolerance and use it less frequently in order to gauge. Also ensure adequate sun cream on the morning! It's definitely still early days but I feel my skin is looking a bit brighter. My hyperpigmentation from pimples long gone are a smidge lighter and I'm really hopeful with consistent use my skin should look more even. Would recommend giving this a try :)

There is next to no info on the listing & little on the product itself. I’m not sure how long you are supposed to use before you see any change in appearance, but so far, nada. As you still need to use moisturiser as normal after applying, you are using 2 products instead of the usual 1. I will amend review if I see any improvement in my skin tone, but at the moment, I haven’t seen changes.

I am not a newbie to retinol, I have built up a bit of a tolerance to it over the past 5 or so years that I have been using it. For reference, I'm in my late 30s with combination skin that has sensitive tendencies. This 0.2% retinol serum by English skincare brand Q + A comes in a dark, amber-colored pump bottle. The dark bottle protects its contents from light, and the pump keeps me from contaminating the rest of the product with my fingers. I like the pump dispenser, too - it dispenses the perfect amount to use on my face and neck. Because retinol increases sensitivity to the sun, I only use this product at night. I have been using this serum 4 nights per week for the past 3 weeks. On clean skin I use toner, niacinamide serum, this retinol, then my nighttime moisturizer. This retinol serum is a runny, creamy consistency and it is pale yellow in color. It is colorless once absorbed into the skin, and it absorbs quickly and completely. This retinol is neither sticky nor greasy, and it doesn't pill when I apply moisturizer overtop. I've been using retinol for years, so I didn't expect any purging when I switched to this retinol serum and I haven't experienced any purging. My skin is seasoned, though, so be aware that some skin purging is normal and common when starting a retinol product; it is really a has-to-get-worse-before-it-can-get-better product. This Q + A retinol serum, at 0.2%, is fairly strong. My skin is "seasoned", I'm used to retinols. If you are a retinol newbie start slow. Don't just jump in at every second night - try it once or twice a week at first, let your skin adjust. If you have sensitive skin, you can add a layer of moisturizer to your skin before using the serum, this really helps. And remember to wear your SPF every day, because retinol increases your skin's sensitivity to the sun. I'm happy with this Q + A retinol serum! It absorbs quickly and fully, and it hasn't caused any irritation at all to my skin. I find it very comfortable to wear, and the pump bottle makes it easy and convenient to use. My skin is glowy, hydrated, and smooth thanks to regular retinol use, and my beautiful skin has remained weeks after switching to this particular retinol serum. At $18/30 mL bottle (price at the time of review), this is the most affordable retinol product that I've ever used. I'm getting the same results with this retinol as I did from my prior retinol serum, which cost significantly more than this one does. I will absolutely purchase this product again, my skin approves!
