We've used these for a number of things but the big reason was to hold adult toys so they wouldn't come in contact and turn into a puddle of goo. So far, they seem to be perfect for this use although we do make sure to wash things before use in case of any lint (not much if any really). Thin draw strings but functional, overall well worth the price.

These bags were absolutely fantastic. I put together my own 24 piece advent calendar for my daughter and her husband and two dogs. These bags were perfect. I had also ordered a smaller set so I had 24 bags for 24 different items. They were so excited even my grand doggies were happy.

I haven’t used these yet- and turning them into bread bags, so will hope they serve my purpose. Good size for a loaf of my sourdough, light enough to coat with protective seal to keep bread fresh. I like them

The size is appropriate to my needs. I was disappointed the inner edges are unstitched and will fray unless I stitch edges together as I will do next. I will be washing these between uses and will report on shrink. The product on arrival is well made with the exception above and would be excellent for travelling and gifting. My primary intended use is related to delicate fabrics like lymphatic release silk gloves as sacrificial fabric protecting the silk gloves from wear in the washing process.

I purchased 2 sets of the 8x10 but received the wrong size, they were more like 5x7. I kept them as I did not have time to return them because I needed them for an event. The 8x10 would have been better. The bags are very thin.

I bought these with the intent of using them as "produce" bags at the supermarket (rather than getting plastic bags in the store). Well, they are small for that purpose - in my opinion. They are indeed 8x10, like the description said, however, maybe only 2 or 3 small tomatoes would fit in them - probably 2 or 3 limes. A couple large navel oranges would not fit. I just expected them to be bigger (my fault, I should have taken a tape measure and seen what 8x10 was before purchasing them). For my supermarket run, I would need something larger to fit tomatoes, oranges, baking potatoes, peppers, etc. You get a lot of them (15), so I could put a potato or 2 in one and another couple in another bag. I didn't want to give them a bad review just because they didn't really fit my needs. They are very lightweight, have a nice drawstring, and are very sturdy! I was actually thinking maybe putting small gifts inside of them, rather than using wrapping paper or a gift bag. They are nice, just not for what I had wanted them for. Oh, and I am not returning them - I actually like them!!!

I read the negative reviews before purchasing thinking maybe they are not thin/sheer as others have said... well, the reviews were right and I was wrong. I was planning on using these to make Christmas gift bags but they are so thin, you can see right through them... making them useless to put gifts inside to "hide". I thought about keeping the bags and putting tissue paper around the item and then sticking it into the bag, but then I came to my next problem.. the TINY thread of string to close the bag. I am serious when I say the drawstring is a THREAD of string. To test it, I did end up pulling on the string very carefully just to see if it would actually close, and it did, but it also increased my anxiety as I feared it was going to rip the seams of the bag. I am returning these as they will not work for my project. However, that being said, there may be some projects these might work for... such as cleaning them and using them to hold tea or other herbs. I guess you could use them for long-term storage of shoes or jewelry. Yet, they wouldn't last if you were getting the stuff in and out on a regular basis. For that reason, I can not recommend these. Uploaded a pic with a book inside so you can see how thin these are. Ridiculous.

Neat little bags. Unbleached (a plus for me). Drawstring isn't bulky. Good size for storing and packing shoes, slippers and ankle boots. Also for packing or storing small items (eg, blouses, small cardigans and handbags, etc.) Satisfied customer.

I used this to make bone broth with a chicken carcass. In the end I could just lift it out and rest it on four chopsticks over a bowl, to let all the broth out. Then throw the bag of bones away

Expensive for a single use muslin bag. The strings which tie the bags tend to break and once they're used it's very hard to undo.
