GOMEXUS Power Knob Compatible for Shimano Daiwa Spinning Reel Handle Knob

I bought the black and gold for my Daiwa BG400 and love it so much I got the red and black for my Kastking Sharky 3 and the black and silver for my cheap Daiwa Strikeforce. Love 'em all! The Daiwa's I had to drill out but the Kastking was just a screw. I was afraid to drill but it was pretty easy. Just take your time to get the center. The BG had to be widen a little but that was easy too. Follow the directions and work up the drill sizes and install per instruction. No binding at all. Everything is super smooth. I got the 35mm at first and that was too small for my hands. Returned and got the 38 which works but I might of preferred the 41 but didn't want to risk it being too big where I would have to grip harder to reel. That would tire you out fast. So the 38mm works fine for me.

This gives me so much more leverage reeling in fish. Feels much more comfortable than the original T-handle. The bearings spin so smoothly. It doubles as a fidgeting toy.

Awesome replacement for stock knobs on my Shimano Spheros 3k. Tackle advisors on YouTube has a great video on how to install and what to be careful of when installing.I had an issue with the bearings and gomexus mailed me multiple replacement bearings within a couple days. Great customer service. Really enjoy the size of these knobs much better comfort wise in my opinion

Really disliked stock handle on Penn Clash Reel. GOMEXUS Power Knob has superior look and feel. Shaft on Penn Clash was riveted on, so had to drill it out from behind. After removing stock shaft, hole had to be drilled out to fit new GOMEXUS shaft. Started with 5/32 drill bit and walked it up in size until the shaft fit. New power knob fits securely. Bearings provide smooth operation. Grips well and allows for more torque on reel. Yet to field test. Will update review if needed, but from what I'm seeing now, GOMEXUS Power Knob is a winner! Update May 2019: After catching a couple of small bluefish off the surf, handle began coming apart. I had to repeatedly tighten while fishing. To resolve, I reassembled using small amounts of gorilla glue in all threads. I still love the handle, but dropping it to 4 star.

Thought the handle on my 4000 size stradics were fine (they were the T handle version) but that's when I was casting lures and able to fight fish using my drag and had a bunch of open space. I went on a head/party boat due to sketchy weather but was forced to horse fish in or risk getting tangled with other fisherman. The T handle did not hold up well and really was uncomfortable. Once I installed these I could instantly feel that it was easier to hold and torque the reel. Would do this for every reel that where you might need to winch in a fish.

As the note reads it does not fit the Shimano Stradic 4000FI. The shaft is 4.6mm in DIA and not 4mm. I do not think they make a product to fit this size but I could be wrong.

This makes your reel way better, great upgrade!

*MAKE YOUR OWN REPLACEMENT POWER KNOB FROM QUALITY MATERIAL* I made my own after endlessly searching and could only come up with EVA knob replacement from questionable Chinese brands/materials. Now I get to keep my original handle from my SHIMANO CALCUTTA 300TE *if you know how to use hand tools and power tools - you're going to do little modification for this 30 minute project after gathering materials. You can get all these materials easily at Home Depot. 1) center punch and drill out one factory handles with a 3/16" drill bit to remove rivet and hone to fit hardware. 2) grind off about 1/8" of original stem or whatever necessary to sit less than flush for screw/hardware to handle. 3) use one 8/32 screw size stainless steel washer and use a thread locker to assemble knob stem to handle assembly. For counter balance side, 4) center punch and drill out the other factory knob with a 1/4" bit. 5) use 1/4" brass bolt for easy hacksaw off and filing of bolt. 6) use chrome spacer/bushing with chrome end cap for a finished factory look.
