I purchased this as a second screen to my MacBook Pro as part of a portable work setup. The screen came very well packaged and was simple to setup. The cover doubles-up well as stand, which is nice and sturdy. Although it comes with a HDMI cable and power supply, I used the supplied USB C cable which powers the monitor from my laptop, meaning less cables to clutter my desk. The quality of the screen is very good – sharp text and bright colours, and the matt surface cuts down on unwanted reflections. It’s also lightweight which is great for carrying in my backpack with my laptop. An excellent value monitor – I’m very happy with it.

I’m honestly super happy with this monitor. The quality’s great — nice and sturdy, but still lightweight enough to take anywhere. The picture’s crisp and bright, and the colors look really good. Everything connected so easily. I plugged it into my laptop and even my iPhone, and it worked straight away — no weird setup or extra apps needed. The cables that come with it are all you need. The sound is decent for a portable screen, and the stand actually holds it steady (which isn’t always the case with these things). Overall, it’s just a solid bit of tech. Makes working from different spots or watching stuff on a bigger screen super convenient. Definitely recommend!

Overall satisfied with the monitor, the build quality is decent and the set up was easy for connecting with my MBP 2024 via video usb-c. Looks quite compact and easy to carry around. Only issue is that although the product on Amazon says max brightness to be 500 nits, the manual in the product reads 400 nits, that's why deducting 1 star. Also, for some reason the colors get messed up when enabling the hdr mode from laptop, so would recommend manually calibrating it to the desired range.

The portable display is a little chunky but seems well made. It has good contrast (QLED), resolution (QHD) and a purse-friendly price (£113 on offer). In the box, you'll find the display in its "smart cover", attached manual with cursory instructions, a HDMI cable, two USB-C cables, a 20W USB-C power adaptor and 4 screws for VESA mounting. The "smart cover" is attached with magnets. It folds into two stand angles to choose from. When covering the display, the front and back are covered as well as the bottom side. The ports and the controls are left exposed. I connected the USB-C cable to my MacBook Air and the display powered up. There are three usable resolutions: - 1280x800 (default): big icons - 1920x1200: my choice - 2560x1600: very small letters Any other choice I tried was broken in some way. Edit: 2048x1280 works well with the MacBook Pro, that’s even better! USB-C power doesn't seem to drain the laptop battery too fast. There is another USB-C port, a HDMI port, an audio connector on the right and a micro-USB connector on the opposite side (not mentioned). The controls situated on the left and are quite exhaustive. I selected "Game mode: FPS", "Temperature: 7500", "Contrast: 40" and I adjust the brightness as needed. Note that contrast needs to be reduced to avoid pink and green colour shifts in the greys but that seems to be a common thing. I changed the profile to Display P3 in macOS and it looks fine. There are good blacks and the picture is bright enough. The refresh rate is 60 Hz which should be fine, but I feel the screen a bit sluggish for some reason. The built-in speaker (left side) works fine. The VESA mount screw threads are centered on the back. There is a round hole in the corner of the frame, possibly to use a prop in portray mode as another reviewer found. Overall it is a good package which I am happy to recommend.

I purchased 2 of these monitors and absolutely love them, I travel a lot so perfect with the light weight and the service is quick too and. Experience with uperfect is perfect, I’d be buying my next gear from them again in the future. Purchased a bag for protection during travel.

It has uncalibrated colors, problems with text at native 3840×2400, and obvious ghosting (slow response). Tried USB-C/HDMI, factory reset, and OSD tweaks—no improvement. Not for designers...

GOOD QUALITY

TIP for people using it as a second monitor to a late 2015 imac; the cord you need is a 🔺 mini display to HDMI🔺. Mine was like $40 CA, Insignia brand, got it at Best Buy. Plug the included power adapter and power cord in, plug the mini display end of the adaptor cord into one of the Thunderbolt 2 inputs, and plug the HDMI end into the monitor. It turns out that according to Apple, Thunderbolt 2 and mini display, while not exactly the same, work exactly the same for this use. I have found HDMI inputs generally a little fussy, you might need to wiggle it a bit, but this awesome little monitor fired right up. Would def buy again.
