Perfect lock for many applications. I have it on an outdoor shed and so far so good. Easy to set the user code and operates smoothly. Has been exposed to elements for close to a year now and still works smoothly with no rust or difficulty in opening. Probably not gonna keep out any hard core pro thief, but for the cost and my purposes, it's a good buy.

purchased one of these combination locks a while back and worked so well I purchased two more, good lock and a fair price.

Good sturdy alternative to overpriced Master combo padlocks. Five out of six were good. The bad one won't spin when the lock is closed. Easy to set a new combo.

We bought these combination locks for outdoor use, fully expecting they’d handle the elements and daily wear. Instead, it was a disaster. Within 60 days, every single lock failed and refused to open. We ended up having to cut them all just to access our storage, which totally defeats the point of purchasing “security” locks in the first place. Here’s what went wrong: The locks couldn’t withstand basic outdoor conditions. The mechanisms completely failed, rendering them useless. There was no way to reset or override them once they broke. We had to destroy them just to recover access to what we locked. If you want something reliable outdoors, look elsewhere. These did not live up to the promise.

Seems like a good lock but iv not exactly tried to brake it came with no instructions but luckily Amazon had a picture of how to set it to new code was simple to do just hope nobody accidentally resets the code tho
