Yunke Premium Set - ·30 Pieces Chasing and Repousse Tools.

I've just taken up chasing and repoussé and this manufacturer was recommended by my teacher. As Christmas is approaching I indulged in the full set and wasn't disappointed. Tools are nicely finished and don't cut the metal. Just need lots of practice now.

I ordered this because it looked like a quality set, having received it I find the punches are much thinner than pictured, filling only about half of the wooden container. The picture here makes it look much larger. The tool stock used was very narrow thus the heads are quite small. This is not necessarily bad depending on what you wish to do with it. For chasing and repousse on small jewelry pieces it may be just fine. I'm just comparing them to the tools I've used before in school. Also it's square stock not rounded edges on the place you hold the piece so holding for a long time may be hard on you hands, it may need some tool tape to make them comfortable to use. The faces of the tools are nicely polished, and the case is nice. For the price paid, I'm somewhat disappointed a few larger pieces were not included in the set. I might not keep them. I would of if it was a mix of large and small, but I think when your working on a large piece like a hair clip or necklace, these may just be too small.

Smaller than I hoped for. Returned.
