The Baby Einstein Octopus Water Play Mat has been a huge hit in our house! Our 4-month-old daughter absolutely loves it — it keeps her engaged, entertained, and fascinated with the floating toys and colorful design. The quality of the mat is excellent. The material feels thick and durable, and it held up really well even with lots of excited little kicks and tugs. The size was actually larger than we expected, giving plenty of space for tummy time and play without feeling cramped. It’s lightweight but sturdy enough to stay in place during use. Setup was super easy — just add water and it’s ready to go in minutes. One feature we really appreciate is how easy it is to drain and store when not in use. It folds up neatly and doesn’t take much space at all. We added a small amount of vinegar to the water, as recommended, to help prevent mold or buildup, and so far it’s been working great. Overall, this is a fantastic product, and we’re planning to buy more as gifts for friends with little ones. Baby Einstein has always been a trusted brand for us, and this play mat continues that streak — great quality, thoughtful design, and a lot of fun packed into one simple toy. Highly recommend!

Well made, thick plastic that won’t tear, not too busy to overstimulate baby, entertains baby well.

We followed the directions for this product and our daughter loved playing with it. However, even though we refreshed the water often (like once a week) we could never get ahead of the deteriorating material inside the water and the growth of mold. We worried about it getting punctured and spilling out with our daughter. Could use some improvements.

After months, and despite baby's best efforts, it still holds water well and has no holes. A good brain building toy. Makes me think of how disappointing it was as a kid to find out that water beds couldn't have fish in them, like the did in A Goofy Movie.

I brought one of these and it deflated within seconds . I re ordered another and after one night these also deflated

Was a little concerned as I was hoping it wouldn't leak but the plastic is thick and strong. The fish move around easily when pushed. This is great for my 7mth old granddaughter
