Stainless Steel Border Fork

My neighbour had lent there ones of these to us and we broke it. Oops!! There was very very very old but still......I felt bad. Anyway, I brought one to replace there one and brought myself one. It really is a great fork. Well made, sturdy and makes light work of the garden. Very much recommend this fork.

It took me a while to work out why this fork was hard work to use, then I looked at the tip of the prongs. They were flat, square section steel - no points! Fifteen minutes with the grindstone put on some chamfers (you can't, of course, put on points with a grindstone) and it has become a delightful tool, easy on the back with its longish handle - other manufacturers please note. But I wouldn't recommend buying unless you have a grindstone, unless, of course, I was sent a dud.

I love this border fork. I have arthritis and spinal disease, so digging is very difficult. Using this fork I was amazed at how easy it was to use. Very sharp ends on fork make it easy to dig up weeds and grass. I was able to spend more time than usual clearing borders. Very pleased. Worth paying extra. Cheap garden tools are a false economy.

I brought a fork in August 2011. It looked good and had a lifetime guarantee. I was very happy with it until on the 6th January one of the prongs snapped off. It turns out that the life of this fork was only 5 months. I had only used it 4 times! I contact Joseph Bentley and they arranged for me to receive a replacement within one week.

Bought mine in 2013 with a lifetime guarantee. Nice fork to dig with but unfortunately one of the tines bent badly recently so contacted the company who took over Joseph Bentley and discontinued them in 2014 and take no responsibility for the "Lifetime guarantee" ! Not happy!!!!

This is an excellent border forkvery well madelovely to uselooks greatIf you want a traditional looking fork rather than a modern plastic and steel jobby -then I would recommend the Joseph Bentley range

It's a good fork. (Ummm! I cannot think of anything else to say. It's a good fork. If you want a fork, buy this one. You won't regret it).
