I got this to do the connection myself after realizing my apartment (I rent) has ethernet ports on the wall that's not connected properly to the ethernet box in the wall. Even as a non-professional, this was super easy to install even for a first timer. Nice quality for the price, and ensures good connection and speed.

They are not tooless, but I was able to use tin snips and pen knife to get wires cut, the top wires must be short or it will not snap correctly. But very good over all.

Very easy to use. Only need one tool (pair of regular pliers to press the pieces together ).

Love the idea and concept, but this is a poor execution. Super easy to use and yes they work, BUT the RJ45 connectors in these will not stay locked into anything I connect them to. Keystones, directly into a switch - doesn’t matter. They will eventually fall out. Sort of a deal breaker.

Went together fairly easy and works. Now we'll see how long it lasts, but it looks stronger than the one that came on the cable originally.

Great and simple solution, it works just as advertised. I was not able to connect a bullet camera because of the connector is a little big for the limited space to connect inside the PoE camera.

The installation was super easy, and I appreciate the ability to re-use the connectors. I had to route my ethernet cable through small holes through my floor and had to snip the existing connectors. These were perfect.

階下のメッシュWiFiを有線バックホールするために既設PF管に市販のLANケーブルを通すのですが、当然コネクタがついてると入らないので切り落として通した後に使いました。 昔単芯タイプで通線にどえらい苦労をしたこともあって、当初余っていた中身30AWG(いわゆる"やわらか極細ケーブル")のLANケーブルを使おうとしたのですが、これらキット自体に使える太さがあるというのをすっかり失念しており細すぎて接触不良系のトラブルになるのが容易に想像できたので急遽24AWGのものを注文。 説明書はついてきません。商品ページを見てください。あとLANケーブル作成を解説しているサイトも参考になります。 まずコネクタのカラーと外殻を通します(忘れるとすべてやり直しで悲惨)。中の線を傷つけないように外側の被覆だけ2cm剥いて(私の場合中の十字のサポーターも取った)、順番通り差し込んでニッパではみ出た部分を切り、押し込むだけです。私の場合、元のLANケーブルの端子の片側はそのまま使うのでテスターで調べてBタイプの配置だったのでそれに合わせました。 性質上奥行き的にスペースがないところには向かないと思います、太いケーブルだとしっかり出っ張ります。 1000Mbps環境ですが品質は問題ないと思います。仕事ではないので数千円とはいえ一度しか使わないかしめ工具とコネクタ何十個とか手元に残っても困りますし、数作る場合は割高なのかもしれませんが私にはこれが正解でした。 こういう挟み込むだけのメスタイプはコンセント周りで日本メーカー品が昔からありますが、なんでオスタイプは無いんだろう？と思ってたのを見つけられて助かりました。

I bought this because I don’t want to spent money on the other tools to make a rj45 connecter. After a few times making this work. It connects with my laptop no problem. Got full 1.5Gpbs speed to my laptop.

What a relief, after so much stress with the cheap crimp connectors. I had those ones w a separate boot, and many crimps later, I still could not do it. But these crimp connectors are so much better! My connector worked at the first try. Yes, they cost more, but the time and frustration saved is worth every penny. Fully recommended. Will definitely buy again!
