High quality
Well made, nice weight, actions perfectly. I was happily surprised to see they came in a nice plastic case, but the second time I opened it the tabs started snapping off. It was a freebie so I can’t complain

Perfect 👌
A snap cap is a must-have for safe dry-fire practice, allowing you to train without risking damage to your firearm. It simulates the weight and feel of a live round, helping improve reloads and handling skills. Durable and reusable, it works with a variety of calibers for versatile training. Overall, it’s an indispensable tool for any shooter looking to practice safely and effectively.

Heavy, very nice
Excellent, really have the heft to them that most don't, feel much closer to live rounds. Lots of replacement rubber pads for the primer pockets, I've used them to freshen up old snap caps of other brands. There is an issue with the extraction groove catching on the rim of the lanyard holes they have through them. Not a huge deal, you just rotate them to the smooth side up before you load the next one, and wost-case scenario they just induce extra uncertainty with clearance drills.

A Realistic and Safe Addition to My Western-Themed Costume Gun Belt
**Angeebin Training Snap Caps for Dry Fire Training Dummy Rounds** **A Realistic and Safe Addition to My Western-Themed Costume Gun Belt** I recently used the Angeebin Training Snap Caps as part of my western-themed costume, specifically on my gun belt, and they were the perfect addition to complete the look. These dummy rounds not only added authenticity but also provided a safe way to enhance the realism of my outfit. **What I Liked:** - **Realistic Appearance**: The snap caps look incredibly realistic, with a design that closely mimics actual ammunition. When I added them to my gun belt, they blended in perfectly with the rest of my costume, adding an extra layer of authenticity that really made my outfit stand out. They’re detailed and well-crafted, which made a big difference in the overall look. - **Safe and Functional**: These snap caps are designed for dry fire training, so they’re completely safe to use in any scenario, including as part of a costume. They allowed me to safely load and display my replica firearm without any risk, which was important for peace of mind during the event. I didn’t have to worry about accidentally damaging the firearm or creating an unsafe situation. - **Durable Construction**: Made from sturdy materials, the snap caps held up well even after being handled and loaded multiple times throughout the night. They’re built to withstand the rigors of dry fire training, so they’re more than durable enough for costume use. The quality construction means they’ll last through many more events or training sessions. - **Versatile Use**: While I initially bought these for my costume, they’re also perfect for dry fire training and practicing safe loading and firing techniques. This makes them a versatile addition to my collection of training tools. Whether you’re using them for practice or as a costume accessory, they perform well in both roles. - **Easy to Use**: The snap caps fit smoothly into the chambers of my replica firearm, and they were easy to load and unload. They didn’t jam or cause any issues, which made them convenient to use throughout the event. The ease of use is a big plus, especially when you’re handling them frequently during a costume party. **What I Didn’t Like:** - **Limited Color Options**: The snap caps I used were in a standard brass-like finish, which looked great, but it would have been nice to have a few color options to match different firearm styles or costume themes. A variety of finishes could add more customization options for different looks. - **Size Specificity**: While the snap caps fit perfectly in my replica, they are designed to fit specific calibers. This means you need to ensure they match the caliber of your firearm or replica to avoid any fitting issues. It’s not a downside, but something to be aware of when purchasing. - **Not Visible from a Distance**: Although they add great detail up close, the snap caps aren’t particularly noticeable from a distance. If you’re looking for an accessory that makes a big visual impact, these might be more subtle than expected. However, for those who appreciate authenticity, they’re a perfect touch. **Bottom Line:** The Angeebin Training Snap Caps were an excellent addition to my western-themed costume gun belt, providing both authenticity and safety. Their realistic appearance, durable construction, and ease of use made them a standout accessory that completed my outfit perfectly. While they’re primarily designed for dry fire training, their versatility makes them a valuable tool for both practice and costume enhancement. If you’re looking for a way to add a realistic touch to your costume or need reliable snap caps for training, these are a fantastic choice. They helped me achieve the look I wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with how they performed!

Perfect fit in 5.7
These dummy/dry fire rounds are true to size in 5.7 x 28. One of the best and most inexpensive ways to improve your trigger press and manipulation skills with your firearm is to use dummies. These are some of the best. They fit perfectly in the magazine and feed into the chamber perfectly. They can also be used on the range by mixing with live ones randomly to simulate malfunctions and practice malfunction drills.

Good idea
These are very nice. I don't have to worry about damaging my firing pin on my rifle when I dry fire it.

Perfect for babyboomer armchair cowboys who grew up on Hoppy, Roy and Gene.
I'm a 79-year-old kid, with a working replica 1873 Colt Single Action Army, chambered in .357. I like handling and quick-drawing the piece, and these snap caps let me do just that in complete safety, without worrying about damaging the action/firing pin. Plus, they're stainless steel and look cool as ess. Because they have a hole at the bottom, assuring they are non-functional, it made it easy to hang one on the silver chain where I still wear my army dog tags from 1967.

I've never dry-fired my Tikka T3X but figured that after getting these snap-caps, I'd give it a try. It's kind of nice to be able to make sure everything sounds right after oiling without having to wait for the next day at the range. So far I've put about 200 activations through these Angeebin training snap caps and haven't had any issues so far. I like the fact that they come with replacement pads (made from rubber, it seems) for when they eventually wear out. The weight is pretty close to a real .270 WinMag shell so that's pretty neat that they got the weight correct, unlike others that are very very heavy or incredibly light. Five stars all the way!!

Only two dummy rounds work. Rest will not allow bolt to close.

These work as expected. Very good for training purposes.

While these rounds are slightly heavier than a standard 110 grain round. They are certainly of quality. These dummy rounds are sitting at 15.04-15.10g where as a real round is around 12.6g. All the dummies were identical in make and as mentioned above are only off by points of a gram over the whole bunch. They came with extra pads and a SIM card like pokie key to remove them. My only mention (and it’s a small one) is that the rounds aren’t fitted to the case like other models from this brand as they are smaller rounds. Other than that I have no complaints and would certainly recommend regardless. Thanks for stopping by!

These are perfect for training! When I did the Firearms Safety Course to get my PAL, the instructor set us up with a handful of random snap caps to identify and load during the practical exam and it really helps getting you familiar with what you're looking for without handling love ammunition. Also, I get a set of snap caps for every firearm I own to familiarize myself with the action before it sees any live ammunition. It's always a good idea to get familiar with the action, and it's a great way to make sure everything is in proper working order and identify any potential jamming issues. These are a perfect match for the 45-70 government, and no issues cycling them through. You also get a set of extra foam pads in case you need to replace them after they wear out - you'll get a ton of use before it gets to that point though. Highly recommend!
