The sanding discs at here very well to the sanding pad using Velcro. Make sure you buy it with the correct number of holes as they don't line up otherwise to your vacuum power sander.

The grit is consistent and you can just about time how long it will last. I have never had a piece of disc tearing i use them so sand stucco off cielings, painted or unpainted.
