We are SOLD on this product! Very useful during our 12-day trip to Japan. GREAT CLOTHES STEAMER!
Update: GET THIS PRODUCT! Better than I hoped. It is a BARGAIN FOR CLOTHES STEAMING, TOO! You'll find the equivalent of this same product going from $200-$500 promoted as a steamer! (Search "Hanging Garment Steamer,Garment Hanger for Steaming Clothes,Collapsible Automatic Wireless Vertical Steam Iron,One-Key Care for Clothes & Fabric, pink". for the results). --- Original review (which I discovered I forgot to click the [Submit] button last November 2024 and this was sitting in my Product Reviews): I tested this with a variety of clothes before travel. I didn't stick to max 5 in unit while first testing. I left socks on its floor, hung dress shirts, turtleneck sweaters, knit pants, and undies. Great job, given small appliance. When my sister first checked it out, she had big doubts on its effectiveness -- until we packed a dozen+ (really!) of small items overnight and she was won over. Of course: Machine-spun clothing is quicker to dry, not unexpected. Even hand washed clothing dried to our satisfaction despite extra time. We did NOT want to hang around hotel laundromats and we only had small loads to dry. We wrung heavier-weight blue jeans as best we could, then let them drip dry over the bathtub for about a half day before sticking them in the dryer. Dress shirts labeled pre-ironed allowed them to look pressed. Knits held their shape. It's rated 110 volts. Japan runs on 100 volts, yet we didn't notice any performance shortcomings on that end. Only time will tell if it holds up in future trips. For now, it's definitely a keeper (Wish we had this during our ol' junior high school days when we didn't have a dryer and had to line-dry our washed outfits to wear the next day.) I am guessing its longevity is likelier as long as you make room for air circulation so don't plan to overstuff the loads. Also, I ordered online the FREE dryer hanger when we got back. It will definitely be useful when there isn't a clothes rod available. (Japanese hotels are very compact with tiny-to-no closet areas. The special hanger/adapter will allow it to be clamped to an upper shelf to do its job.) (Maybe I'll be on the lookout for a complimentary product that also doesn't take up a lot of room but will spin hand-washed items prior to putting them in this dryer..lol.) if I run into problems in the future. I'll be sure to update this review, keeping in mind that this product is meant for smaller drying jobs. It's so handy.

Worth it- hanging clothes dryer for renters- community laundry apartments
SO Worth it! I wrote this because I’m so stoked about it. I took the TIME to write this review. So, living in an apartment complex with so many people, and our laundry room machines CONSTANTLY breaking- and rarely get fixed— everyone and all their stuff they put into them, yuck. Especially when overall you want better for your skin and kids skin sensitivities. This so much BETTER and I can’t believe I haven’t looked into this kind of thing before. Guaranteed money saver. It’s compact, easy to hang- mine is on a cloths drying rack- Pants and small towels would need to flip over to dry all the way through. (Neutral- it’s not a con and it’s not a serious issue) It gets plugged in and has timer settings up to 4 hours and has a UV sanitizer light! GAME CHANGER. So many good things- Pros- UV light!! Does dry your clothes, just takes some time. Don’t over crowd. Clothes are not “stiff” like when you hang dry them and much less wrinkly. Not loud at all. Needs some space to properly ventilate. Gets sufficiently hot, enough for clothes. Not too hot, air blows from top down Don’t have to wait for other people to be finished for their laundry Don’t have to pay (other than what you pay for the product) on any third party apps, OR accumulate and be stingy with/protective of quarters. Cons- Obviously, can’t dry big bulky things (I haven’t tried a single bath towel, or fitted sheet- yet) But can’t dry like big comforters. Like a common sense thing- it’s not made for heavy items. Unfortunately. All that for a goal of one day having a home I own with working and new washer and dryer appliances. Other than that, nothing really- it works well, I’d just say maybe more range of UV light for sanitation. As for durability, I didn’t have this too long to say that it lasts and it’s heavy duty- But overall- it’s a great product. For what we want out of it. You probably can travel with it too, it’s compact. But I don’t travel so I wound know TSA regulations with this kind of product. It’s not terrible. It’s not too expensive, doesn’t need to have extra products to buy for it to work (like ventilation hoses) It doesn’t take up much space at all- it hangs- you just need to place it near an outlet, off the wall and overall let it hang to do its job. I have a portable washer from Farberware that has lasted me so many years, but overall getting a portable washer, having that set up and this- AWESOME. Gets pricey but saves you time and money.

Works as expected...wish they were a tad longer.
Works well...on lightweight clothing. Heavier weights (jeans and sweats) take about 4 hours to dry. I toss those in a regular dryer and dry all the lighter stuff (shirts, etc) in this. Saves me time in drying...I have 2 of these going at the same time as a regular dryer. My dryer takes less time since there is less in them. I wish they were a bit longer. My husband's t-shirts are longer than the bag and the bottom of the shirts bunch and don't dry. Once the top is dry I fold them in half and finish them that way. My shirts dry fine since they are shorter. Overall I am happy with them. When you are done, they fold back up inside themselves and tuck away in a closet...totally space saving for an apartment. Fingers crossed they last a long time! We'll worth the money (and they have already saved me more money than I spent on them--at about $4.00 a load to dry).

Great dryer
I saw this portable clothes dryer on tic tock and was thinking about getting it. I am so glad that I did. It is so easy to set up and use. It took me less than a minute to set it up. It gets hot rather quickly and if you have your vent on in the bathroom or room that you are using the dryer in it does not get hot in that room at all. Absolutely no humidity. The noise is very minimal. The only noise you will hear is the motor. But that is very low. I put 3 shirts and 3 pairs of pants in the dryer and it took about 2 hours to fully dry. Not to bad since I have to run a regular dryer twice on a 45 minute cycle each time. Definitely worth the money both for saving money for the dryer and energy. Which it is very efficient because it uses a standard outlet. I highly recommend this dryer.

Height is 90 cm (from the clothes hanger), width and depth can stretch so (more wedith = less depth) vice versa, depth is 15~30cm width is 40~58cm. So if a sweater is 58cm wide, the depth will be around 15cm. But if shirts are 40cm wide, the depth will be doubled. Either way 9 shirts would be a very tight swueeze, a realistic optimal option is probably 3~5 but i haven't tested it yet so I'll be optimistic and go 5 stars for now.

Product is cheap quality including the plastic cover. It works only at one speed and take 5-6 hours to dry garments fully.
