Easy to assemble motor-based kits with good instructions.
Really run assembly kits, I put them together with my 3 year old. They actually last a long time - we built all of these about 5 months ago and all but 1 are going strong. Good instructions with pictures, well priced and fun to see how different things work.

That the one that moves, some obstacles doesn’t even touch a little spec on the ground.
It’s very amazing. It’s so easy to build, but there is a little bit of screws. I would read this five stars automatically. It’s just amazing like literally the robot with googly eyes not the wind powered car. Fabulous fun and can be used to teach some general science concepts.
These were fabulous fun and also could be used to teach some general science concepts. Toys are cheap and not meant for a lifetime, but the assembly and play were great. Screws and wiring are TINY - will require an adult. AA Batteries required.

Not meant for a 6yr old.
The product is great, but not meant for 6 yr old. Screws are too small for a 6 yr old to manipulate. Adult will need to set up. I say this toy is more for 8yr old and above.

Stem kits
This kit is okay, it is a little more technical so when it was opened as a gift, it wasn’t instant gratification (each kit has to be assembled and they really need adult help or supervision) so that could be an issue for some kids. 6yo grandson loved this kit.

Difficult Assembly Made This Toy Impossible For Us to Use
My 6 year-old granddaughters were so excited to order and receive this robot kit, but it is very, very hard to assemble the robots -- even for the adults among us who were trying to help the kids. Love the idea of this kit, but each robot must be assembled using a number of extremely tiny screws, and not one of us was able to successfully place and screw them in successfully. For this reason, we are unable to assemble and use this toy at all. Such a disappointment. High quality toy, but think it is strangely difficult to use -- for adults and kids alike.

This is a fun toy for kids. Very clever designs and easy enough for kids to build. Don't forget to buy batteries, they're not included!

Love it! My son was so excited! He’s 7 and is able to put the parts together. He does take a long time to put the screws because they were small. He asks for my help = bonding time. If they were a bit bigger, he will be able to do it easily by himself.
