Very happy with these. Made from plywood, they are well finished and smooth. I upgraded from some plastic rings and the extra cost was well worth it. Add a bit of chalk and the wood absorbs it, leading to a grippier surface. They are also grippier in their natural state, even when your hands get sweaty. The straps are also good with the markings so they are really quick to set up as different lengths for your exercises. They are lighter than the ones I had been using but seem perfectly strong enough to cope with my bodyweight (83kg) and the friction mechanism seems fine. Differently worth it.

So firstly I'd just like to say that in comparison to other brands these hold up very favourably. For instance next to me Gornation ones which are about as top end as you can get, the quality of the wood and finish is the same. The width of the straps are the same with the Liferun straps being slightly thinner but same width. Nice stitched straps, good buckle. Another point I'd like to raise from someone using rings for +20 years. Do not treat the wood with anything. Wood is favoured because it keeps the grip even with sweat and takes chalk well. It's supposed to be unfinished and absorbent. Don't try and keep the wood in good condition with oil or varnish. Use them how they are meant to be used. They're not furniture Lastly I've bought a pair of 32mm to go with my 28mm just for occasionally giving my hands a break as they occasionally get sore from over use and the thicker ones hit a different area of the palm. Having said that 28mm is the standard and should be the choice of pretty much everyone. You don't use thicker rings if you're taller, everyone in power lifting and olympic lifting use a 28mm bar for good reason regardless of size. So stick with the fig standard 28mm unless you have a special use case. The internal diameter is actually smaller on the 32mm making them less suitable for larger hands.

Sturdy, big rings, i haven’t but the protection on the wood as it feels fine without them, easy to stay on, not too easy with it on a pull up bar without trying to hit the doorframe, but I doubt think thats what they’re intended for. Works for building muscle

Purchased to aid to my calisthenics practice. Price November 2024 £19.99. The right price point for me in comparison to other brands which don't have numbered straps, however, the straps are not wide. This doesn't take away from the function of the rings. The numbers are placed evenly on both straps making it easier to get level/even. The kit includes grip tape. I would prefer to pick the colour from the options of blue or black, I recieved blue. Rings are smooth with no defects. They feel comfortable, and are easy to set up by placing it over the top bar of my pullup frame. It's laminated wood, so not suitable to be left outdoors in the UK. Delivered timely.

These rings are a perfect addition to my pull up bar and other workout equiment I have , it's surprising how many exercises you can actually do with these rings. They are great quality, very strong and comfortable, also my kids love them , they are working out while thinking they are playing 🤣, I do have 2 thick crash mats underneath them just in case of any accidents.

Es un instrumento de tortura que hecho de menos 3 veces por semana.... Se ven fuertes y duraderos, las correas son muy suaves y se deslizan muy bien cuando las ajustas pero son fuertes, anchas y no se deslizan cuando te cuelgas...

rings are round. Well smoothed. Strap is good, metal buckle appears durable enough.
