USB 2 fan speed controller

Works well. I’m using it with 2x fans to provide “wind” on seedling starts. I had some of these case fans sitting unused and felt this would be a cheap option for my needs.

Had a couple of 120mm case fans lying around and wanted to add a bit more cooling to my laptop stand since I work from home, and sometimes I really push my work laptop to the limit. The stand's tray already comes with holes, so I figured why not attach some fans underneath and add extra cooling. This adapter works perfectly for the situation. I get to control the speeds of the fans, and now my laptop doesn't get as hot, plus since I already had the fans, it was a fairly cheap solution.

This is a great little product for DIY-ers, I bought this so I could make a personal cooling fan made of Noctua fans :D The fans spin all night with no issues whatsoever. Its a decent product for a decent price. Just make sure you check the wattage that your fans need, so youre not overloading this, it was clearly designed for 2 average computer case fans.

I bought this to use an external fan to help pull hot air out the back of my computer near the power supply, and it works very well. There are several useful ways to use this thing. You could use it to help pull hot air out of the top vents of your monitor, or use it to cool a cable modem by pulling hot air out of it's vent holes. Those things can get very hot. Just a handy item. I am using it with a phone charger power adapter, which provides a little more power than a USB port does. But it's not necessary if you don't need that extra juice. A USB port will suffice. It will work with a 3 or 4-pin fan of various sizes. Feels like a well made product. Doesn't feel cheap at all. I like it and may even buy another one or two just to have around incase I were to need them at a later date.

Been working on a project for a new homemade office desk. Using this to control two 120mm fans for the PC enclosure cooling. Really like that this uses a USB port to drive PC fans "EXTERNALLY" from the case. Helps to evacuate any residual heat, so I can keep the PC below the desk in a small enclosure but not worry about overheating. I like the speed adjust feature, but honestly, I run my fans on 100% using two 'whisper quiet' ~20dB and can barely hear them. Good product, and good price for what it does.

Got this to use for short periods when testing 40mm server fans. It works well for those, but some smaller or larger fans exhibit weird behavior.

I had an issue with several of the ports on my on-board fan controller, and this did the trick! Makes it easy to switch the fans off when not needed as well.

This allows me to use my pc fans outside of the pc as regular fans. Useful when you have a bunch of pc fans in storage

I use this to keep external hard drives cool while I test them before shucking. Ran for a couple days, works great. Controls and on off switch or a bonus. Can't speak to the longevity but so far so good, can think of many uses where getting a fan running somewhere is needed, great way to make use of my box of old PC fans. It does properly step up USB port voltage to 12 volts, unlike some of the other products, I tried first.

This cable is handy when have spare pc case fans laying around. I use it to cool the pc case, outside for extra air flow.

Installed and it works as expected. Speed control granular enough to be effective in controlling fan speed and noise.

Have two 140mm standard computer fans wired into my electronics cabinet and plugged this into the switched usb port on the back of my receiver. Electronics go on, so do the fans. Was able to easily set a speed that works and my electronics stay cool and will last much longer as a result.

This worked as I expected. I connected this to my tv usb port to turn on and cool my AVR.
