The zipper protects the pages so slipping it in and out of a bag is easy. It has a nice feel to it while I'm holding it or laying it on my lap. The type really is easy to read and my eyes are not so young anymore. I like the color purple. The shade is very nice. I also was able to find some tabbies which work for this smaller Bible. As you can tell I am very pleased with it. Review: A really beautiful and useful Bible - What I like about this Bible is the zipper cover so I can easily travel with it. The typeface is very readable even to my aging eyes, and the red letter feature for Christ's words is a plus. This is the New King James Version, in up-to-date English to replace the often puzzling 17th century wording of the original KJV while true to the spirit of the original, and in my view it almost qualifies as a new translation. Highly recommended.

Perfect take-along Bible.
This is the perfect take-along Bible. The zipper protects the pages so slipping it in and out of a bag is easy. It has a nice feel to it while I'm holding it or laying it on my lap. The zipper keeps it protected in my purse!
I am really enjoying this compact bible. It fits in my purse nicely and the zipper keeps the pages protected. I am having a bit of trouble with the zipper coming unattached at the bottom of the spine which can make it troublesome to zip closed sometimes. But I still am enjoying it despite that little nuisance. It has really stood up to being shoved around in my purse, it still looks great and the purple color is lovely.

Super love this bible!!
I am really happy I bought this bible. I really love the zipper, it keeps the pages safe when I take it with me in my backpack. The cover is soft feeling in your hands, and the bible can lay flat. I was surprised that the "comfort print" actually was more comfortable for my eyes while reading. I am so pleased with this bible.
