I will buy more.
This device worked right out of the packaging (as it should) and therefore pleasantly surprised me. I will buy more for other projects in the future.

Easy to use, and multifunctional.
For first screen I've ever written a program for I am honored to have you. It's the perfect little thing not to hard to use and the language once you get use to it easy to understand. Thank you.

Very Nice Display!
Very nice display! Worked great, and with AI, I was totally able to use this and learn. I liked it so well, I bought another. Use AI, know which driver the display needs, and start creating! And I'm a newbie with non-oled displays. But treat the display nicely! I cracked my first one by dropping it, so it was totally my fault.

ILI9488 is not natively included in the library manager for Arduino IDE
The Hosyond 3.5 Inches TFT is an ILI9488 -- this doesn't have a default Adafruit driver in the Arduino IDE -- you have to manually install the library from GITHUB and edit the User_Setup.H file to get this screen to work successfully with an ESP32. It took me some time to get it working properly. In retrospect, the 3.2 inch display is an ILI9341, and works out the box, with the standard Adafruit ILI9348 library. The extra 0.3 inches wasn't worth all the trouble. I'll get the 3.2 screens from now on. The unit works fine and is a good display, once you get it working. There are no instructions with the screen, so you have to go searching for how to get it to work.

First setup failed - but now all is working...
Update to previous review! Turns out the problem was the Ardunio Mega 2650 I was using had a faulty voltage regulator on the 3.3V outlet so SPI communication would not work correctly. I tried a NodeMCU ESP8266 instead with the TFT_eSPI library by Bowder and it all works. And a MUCH simpler setup (no level shifters, etc) Touch sensitivity is a bit sluggish but acceptable for what I need to do so all is well at a great price! Previous review... Could not get it to work - the classic "white screen" problem. Note that unit requires level shifters to work with Ardunio Mega 2560 - that's not evident in the initial product description so read ALL the details carefully. It does comes with documentation and libraries you can download from vendor site but examples did not help and after checking and rechecking wiring and level shifter setup I gave up. Will try another brand.

4.0 inch version, Not actually an ST7796S display — uses ILI9488 driver instead
This display works, but buyers should know that it is not an ST7796S panel even though the listing and documentation say it is. After a lot of testing, I confirmed the controller is actually an ILI9488, which requires a completely different initialization sequence and driver. If you try to use it with the Adafruit ST7796S library, you’ll get partial updates, white screens, clipping, and other strange behavior. Once I switched to TFT_eSPI with the ILI9488 driver, the display worked correctly at the full 480×320 resolution. Colors, rotation, and performance were all fine after that. The hardware itself is decent for the price, but the listing is misleading. Anyone planning to use this with ESP32 or Arduino should be aware that it needs the ILI9488 driver, not ST7796S.

Works with 5V Arduinos with voltage conversion
These can work with 5V Arduinos, but require 3.3V signals. I've had other 3.3V stuff work with 5V Arduinos, so I initially tried the 2.4 inch version with NO voltage conversion. This did NOT work. I then tried using resistors to form a voltage divider to get approximately 3.3V and this did not work either. Not sure if due to an error on my part or not. Having all those resistors on a breadboard is asking for a short so there may have been one. I ended up getting the 3.5 inch version and used the level shifters listed below. This worked well. I was not sure if the 2.4 inch screen was OK or if I fried it with 5V. I tried it by swapping it directly out with the (working) 3.5 inch setup and it worked as well. It seems that while it will not work with 5V, it is not guaranteed to kill it either. I have NOT tested the SD or Touch interfaces yet. It works amazingly well and has a lot of documentation available.

After libraries were installed and wired the LCD screen correctly to my Arduino UNO, all I got was a blank white screen. No matter what I did—installing new libraries, reconnecting every pin, going through youtube videos to find solutions—it still only displayed a white screen. Had to return it because I suspect something is either wrong with the test case codes they provide or the LCD screen itself is faulty. Documentation was fairly confusing too.

Graphics test works, constantly crashes when touch pins and calibration test are ran. Been at it consistently for a work, 3.3v to 5v changed my strap pins, tried everything and nothing gets the touch to boot properly
