Awful product, no matter what I try (butter or various oils) every attempt to cook on it results in food sticking to the surface. I would not reccomend using it.

I would give “0” star to this if I could. I have used futura Tava before and it was good quality, however this is horrible quality. Everything sticks to it even with lots of oil on all heat settings. It is not non-stick, it mentions stick resistant with oil but no quantity oil stopped any chapati or egg sticking to base. Avoid at all cost.

Very disappointed with the quality - it’s much lower than GENUINE futura hard anodised products I’ve personally bought outside of Amazon and used for years. This was damaged on first use on minimum heat. See picture - this pan was used just once which says a lot…

It was too small for chspatis, it’s not non stick which is what you need to make chaptis.

I am writing this review after holding the product for 3 years. Yes, I did not try for almost 3 years since when I tried making dosas, they stuck. Then I read all reviews recently, and became aware of how to use it. This is the only tawa you will ever need for any kind of dosas, parathas, uttapams and tawa fried recipes. Steps for making dosa: 1. Heat tawa till very hot (without any oil), till you can feel the hotness of you hold your palm few inches above tawa. 2. Smear oil evenly. 3. Simmer to low heat. 4. Pour dosa batter and cook as usual, over low flame only. Drizzle few drops of oil or ghee on each dosa you make, everytime.

Good for making parathas

Excellent product, but it's better to serve chapati right after making it instead of keeping it in the casserole for later, as it becomes hard. The product doesn't function as a non-stick.Overall worth buy.

It's a nice product, but you try to avoid oil while making parantha, else it will leave brown marks. For chapati it's great.. better than non stick. Even if you get brown marks it's really east to clean with light scrub.. it removes easily.
