USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter

Great item works well

I don't know it is with Android 'phones, but trying to easily copy data from them to Macs or PCs seems such a challenge, when it shouldn't be. Sure, it's possible to download an Android transfer program, but in my experience these don't always work. Bluetooth should be easy, but the Android application seems to be deliberately crippled such that it's not possible to select individual files or get rid of the ads. Uploading to the cloud can also take time. My wife wanted to easily backup her photos from her device, so I grabbed one of these cables and used a USB 2.0 thumb drive. The cable seems well made, and the business of copying nearly 700 pictures took just a few minutes. Sure, there's a degree of sneakernet involved in moving the pictures between devices, but it works perfectly. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, as it is said. Happy wife, happy life! Recommended.

Works well with my Sony Xperia XZ running Oreo. You need to go to USB in Settings and tap the option to recognise the USB device. Once done you can open the file explorer and view/copy photos on USB memory sticks etc. or use an external keyboard. I've not tried any other devices. Ugreen offer well-made items. This model is plastic bodied whereas their more expensive range features aluminium. Plug is a good tight fit in the phone.

This USB A to USB C adaptor does its job perfectly with good value for money. The ports sit snug and are not too tight so they do not damage anything, it works right out of the box with no fiddling needed. The only thing that would be nice to see is a braided cable to possibly improve durability and to make it feel more premium. Otherwise this is a solid product that does its job with no hassle.

I have an UGREEN OTG cable for my Samsung S7. It was very useful if I wanted to connect a USB stick or game controller to my phone. I just assumed that it would work with the S8 if I used the USB C to Micro USB adaptor that was supplied with the S8 when I bought it. I was wrong. After a quick look on Amazon, it turns out that UGREEN also make OTG cables with a USB C connector. I ordered one and thanks to Amazon Prime, it arrived the next day. I have tested it with both a USB XBOX game controller and an 8GB USB 2 stick. Both worked immediately - no setting up or fiddling. Just plug them in and you are good to go. I am going to order one for Mrs E as she also has a S8 As with all my reviews, if I encounter any issues then I will update this review but for the time being, it is 5 stars

Good value and quality

I use this adapter to connect a SD Card Reader to my Samsung S6 Lite Tablet to download photos from my Canon Digital SLR camera. Works perfectly!!!

Elegí esta marca "ugreen" porque he comprado ya varios cables y hub usb y me han funcionado siempre muy bien, a demás el precio es un precio razonable y calidades correctas, en cuanto a calidad de materiales (plasticos y metales) siempre genial, los acabados muy bien y el diseño siempre es lo que mas me ha gustado de esta marca. Compré este cable para poder conectar pendrives de memoria usb a una tablet con windows 10 con entrada de usb C y funciona genial. También escogí este sistema con cable, porque los que son de una pieza, al enchufar toda la caja entera, dependiendo del ordenador o tablet que quieras conectarlo, si hay varias entradas usbC en serie, al conectar uno puede que no quepa otro al lado, en cambio este al ser con cable, da espacio para conectar en conectores próximos. Sin duda, ugreen esta en una de mis marcas preferidas de cables y hubs usb.
