Sun Club formed in 2012 out of the ashes of an old band, with the purpose of making people go insane (in a great way). Pulling from influences like the Beach Boys and Animal Collective, Sun Club creates an array of energetic noises. AMAZING ALBUM. OH MY GOSH.Buy this if you enjoy great indie guitars, incredible vocals, catchy tunes, delightful bells, and really loud dudes.These guys apparently played 104 shows last year.I will die happy if I get to see one of them.

The vocals yelp & warble with expansive, tense emotion over music that mines huge waves of reach-for-the-sky grandeur with rhythmic hard-pop and edgy shore-breezes of ethnic infusion. The songs have a sort of relaxed intensity (if that’s possible) that drives and builds toward something mysterious and necessary.
