Easy to Use
These popsicle bags were just what I needed for my summer BBQ this weekend! The bags were very easy to use provided you follow a couple of tips. The bags are closed at the top and opening them is a bit fussy. I folded/pinched the top in half (lengthwise) to create a small gap and then pulled the zip open. I then used a narrow wooden spoon to push open the bags. I opened about 10 at a time to keep the workflow moving. I didn't use the included funnel as I felt a hard plastic funnel would be more sturdy - that was a pro move because it made the filling very easy! The bag itself is sturdy and the zip closed well for me. Others said that their bags did not have a tear off notch, but mine did (photo included). My bags did not leak, none were wasted, and they were just the right size for a cold, summer treat!

Adult Popcicles abound!!
I used these to make booze pops! They were easy to fill for the most part. I used my own funnel but it does come with one. They were not easy to open but I was able to open using my index fingers to pull the zipper open. I filled up leaving about an inch or a little less with various drink mixes and they easily zipped up leak proof. I laid them on the side immediately and no leaking. Stuck in freezer and boom happy party guest. I am able to tear them open using my teeth, some can with hands but almost impossible to open the zipped seal once frozen. Scissors work too. Will be ordering more in the future. Just wish alcohol stayed frozen longer once taken from freezer but cannot blame these for that! I recommend for any type of Popsicles people want to make, very sturdy!

Glad I went for it!
I was nervous about the seal on the ziplock. But it holds up great! I made 75 of them in about and hour and a half with 3 recipes. I much prefer batch cooking and preparing of any kind when it comes to things my kids like. And now I don't have to worry about making popsicles for a few months. That is if I can control indulging in them myself.. Only criticism of this product is that they are delivered sealed. (as they should be for sanitary purposes) but they are a PAIN to open up when filling them because it's so narrow. I ended up using a chopstick to help pry them open. I'd call it a design flaw, but it seems like it needs to be that tight and I wouldn't want it any wider. So it looks like sticking with my chopstick method! I had it in mind that these may be reusable, Because of the ziplock. But I don't bother opening them when it comes time to eating because of that tight seal. I just cut them in half and justify eating half of my tots popsicle everyday. So maybe its a blessing in disguise. Haha

DO NOT count on the 'ziplock' seal!!!!
MR Patty here ;) Done with field testing. GREAT product. Plastic tubes that make pops. They held ~4 liquid ounces. (~120mL) BUT.. ""Perfect Design: These popsicle pouches can be zip sealed for your extra convenience. Forget about messy freezers and sticky backpacks. Simply tear away from the notch and eat it, without need to laboriously open the seal zip."" No. Just...no. OK, first there is NO tear notch. Not sure what they think is there. We are freezing the first batch now, will report back on tearing and opening these. The 'Zip Seal' is NOT liquid tight nor air tight. Not even close. Freeze these upright, and store upright if you are not heat sealing them. You WILL have messy backpacks and freezers if you do not. :( They Do seal well with a heat sealer, such as we have from Cabelas. It has a 'Seal Only' option that works. Here is how I filled them. I cut a piece of 'Sched 40 1 1/2" PVC pipe' 8.75" (~225mm) long. Pictures provided with metric and US measure. Pinch the Zipseal between the index finger and thumb. Pull the index finger into the center to open and distort the Zipseal so it stays open. It wont seal anyway, so dont worry about putting a kink in it. Form the end of the tube into a 'V' and inset it into the tube. Dont force it, you want it easily filled. The collapsible funnel is cool for camping, but a poor choice here. I used a rigid plastic funnel. Fill to 1/4" (7mm) above the tube. Worked for me. You may have to experiment with your particular devices. I lined the Zipstrip up so it would seal below it. You may have to try a few to get the settings for your heat sealer correct. You may have to fill it less. Heat seals VERY well, you can see the leakage around the Zipseal. It is JUNK. DO NOT depend on the Zipseal to keep product in the tube. EVERY one I tested leaked. 80 done as I write this. So... solid 4 of 5 stars. Zipseal does NOT meet the ad copy, but hey... its cheap. Work around it, and you will have leak free frozen pops for your Easter (or other) celebration. Its a good start, but NOT foolproof. Or even idiot resistant. But they are good plastic tubes. MIGHT lose a star if they are impossible to open. YOU WILL NEED A HEAT SEALER TO HAVE THESE LEAK FREE. Be advised.

Nice product
These disposable ice popsicle bags are great. They’re also at an affordable price. Store bought popsicles have too much sugar in them and have an aftertaste. Making your own popsicles with fresh fruit blended is healthier and tastier for my grandchild. I will be purchasing these again.

Very hard to open!!!!!
These would have been Perfect, if they were easy to open, before filling! But they are Very hard to open. You have to be strong and have small fingers. And a sharp thumb nail. I would pinch the seal in half, a couple of places, than take thumb and finger to pry open by using my thumb nail. Very frustrating. But once you get them open, they work fantastic. Filling them is easier with a hard plastic or metal funnel. Pinch the bag and the tip of the funnel together and pour your ingredients in. About a 1/2 inch from the top. It needs space for freezing. I just cut the top off and toss after use. I also did not have a problem sealing them after filling them.
