Wasn't sure what to expect but VERY pleasantly surpriesd
I was actually just looking for a good bacopa, and I know this isn't straight "that." Plus there have been times in the past where supplements/herbal things, it seemed, could throw me off a bit. Maybe it was fillers or whatnot. But some of these things are supposed to be beneficial in their own right, having properties that can affect a person, so I was a little concerned about how the 'blend' would go. I am happy to say it seems fantastic! I know you're supposed to wait for a while to see how it builds up cumulatively in your system, but honestly after about a week or so it's been really effective, for focus, for consistent energy, for clarity of mind (in the sense of making connections, etc. I even didn't take caffeine this morning (which I normally do with L-theanine) and it sort of took off the grog like the caffeine would -- if you're wondering if that just means I don't need either, I've tried that and I stay grogged out due to a weird schedule and inconsistent bedtime. I know this is pretty expensive in absolute terms but if you can manage it, it's making me feel more me and I've spent more money on worse things :) As far as I can tell there's no taste but a very subtle, pleasant smell.

Doesn't Seem to Make a Difference in Me
I haven't noticed any cognitive improvements since taking this supplement. Granted, I wasn't having any problems prior, but since my entire life I've had problems with names (when I run into someone I haven't seen in a few years, they always remember my name but I can't remember theirs) I thought perhaps this would help with that. So far, at least, it hasn't made a difference. Perhaps it will take longer, or perhaps this supplement is designed for people with issues other than mine. I also realize that without any real "lab type" testing on me (before and after) my assessments are purely subjective. There is no downside to taking these (no stomach upset, for instance), but for me, at least, I see no benefit.

Bacopa, ashwagandha, CDP choline, black rice extract
This is a great nootropic / BDNF boosting supplement. I'm obsessed with nootropics, and even I like the formulation of this. It's lions mane mushroom (not an extract unfortunately), skullcap (also not an extract), black rice extract (standardized to 25% anthocyanins, Sensoril ashwagandha, bacopa extract, and CDP choline + Sharp-PS. I'm not a big fan of the proprietary blends, and unfortunately you have no way of knowing how much bacopa, ashwagandha, and black rice extract you are taking. It could be a good dose or it could be next to nothing. But the ingredients are excellent and the formulation is based in science. The black rice extract in particular is of special interest to me, and 25% anthocyanin content is a high potency extract. That plus bacopa plus CDP choline plus ashwagandha, and you have a very effective stack. The lions mane is good too assuming it's an extract and not just whole mushroom powder. Overall - good BDNF boosting supplement. I would also recommend Longvida curcumin, CognatIQ coffee fruit extract, astaxanthin, and exercise for boosting BDNF.
