I was stuck between the single arm type of mounts, seemed too questionable and flimsy, but this style of mount is positively the best one for $100 and glad i went this way. The metal is thick and stiff heavy construction, only issue I had was swinging around at stops but just tighten the screws with the supplied Allen key. Other than that it's rock solid, little bit of assembly for about 20 mins but once it's one it feels like they best thing in the car. Mounted in a kia soul for mobile on the road gaming and general use, will be better in my truck. If I have a passenger it's easy to undo the 4 handle screws at the bottom base and it's out of the way. In a truck or van there's definitely more room. Go with this one.

Works perfectly and as advertised. Install was easy. Personal suggestion? Buy foam padding strips and line the edges of the metal tray because this WILL move around when you’re driving, especially if you have the laptop on it. The tray will bang up your car door interior a fair amount. You can see what I did here in my second picture.

Only knocking this down a star because I wish I could mount the laptop lower than the lowest setting. My truck as no center console and I was hoping to fill the void with the laptop. That being said, the stand itself is fantastic, especially for the price. Being able to detached the whole column with 4 easy thumb screws is both just as durable as a $300+ mount, but also a way easier connection to the base plate than any other mount I've seen or used. I have taken my truck on some pretty bumpy dirt roads hitting radio and microwave towers. The laptop arm did slide around a little bit, but considering the system is likely not designed for that level of use and abuse, I am still very satisfied.

The mount is fairly sturdy but lacks in ability when launching in a race car. Perhaps I just race too much? Too fast? Eh. It spins around on launch so I have to turn it to brace it against the door when taking off. I can't seem to lock it tight enough without the spin, yet I know it wasn't made for this kind "force" so I'm sure it would be perfect if you just used it to mount a computer to work on your car. The size is, however, perfect to hold my laptop so I like the design and the height is nice.

Works great. I couldn't get the seat bolts to break loose on my car but I found a way to slide it into the seat guides/tracks and it works perfectly.

Bought a new laptop and this mount for work. Mounted in my Silverado no issues. After a couple of days, I’ve noticed it swings around when taking corners. Today, I had the laptop closed and went to open ot for an estimate and saw my screen screws up from the two laptop locks. They’re made of metal with no felt or anything to keep the screen safe.

Very nice mount. We have used others and this has been a favorite for employees

Then it was mounted I found out it was not so stabil. It flex and the tray will move even then you have screwed the screws to the max and a little more

Outils très solide le seul bémols c’est qu'il manque un peut d’adaptabilité obligé de faire de la modification avec la meuleuse pour que ça soit fixer correctement sur un tiguan 2023 Et dommage car un passager ne passe pas si il y a le support manque de réglage des position à mon goût mais sinon très solide et conforme a la description
