Sun Runner Cap

I own three other Outdoor Research OR hats. This is just another great hat. I was continuously getting bit by biting flies on the neck during hikes and this hat put an end to it. It’s light and cool. Thanks OR!

This hat allegedly provides serious sun protection, and for the neck it does that. However, the brim is actually shorter than a standard baseball hat, so provides minimal protection for the face. The brim should be longer than that on a baseball hat, not shorter. The design makes no sense given the goal of this apparel.

... when you realize that you are getting a bad sunburn, even though you are wearing a ridiculous-looking hat, because the "sun cape" is a few inches too short and doesn't reach all the way down to your shirt collar.
