Super
The Best !!! This drive is really FLASH

Read/write speed performance as advertised, but cheap appearance.
Needed a flash drive with very fast write speed; exceeding that of my former speed champ, the Kingston DTE Elite series. This drive has easily met that requirement so far. Does not have the reassuring metal case of the Kingston, but both read and write are many times faster, as is the maxium capacity.

High capacity, decent speed thumb drive.
This thumb drive actually has a good decent transfer speed for a USB 3.2. It is not the fastest on the market but it does the job. Please be aware that you do need the correct port to utilize the full transfer speed. This is a great thumb drive to have for if you need a quick transfer of larger files or a back up for pictures and videos. Although 250 gb is a bit unorthodox compared to many other flash drives, pictures and videos probably could easily fill up 250 GB. I would say this is pretty nice to have some more important files stored safely on a thumb drive as back up if needed. The first thing I will say is that this thumb drive is a little thicker than your average thumb drive but it is still decent size for 250 gb. It is thin enough where it will not take up too much space. It does have a small loop I would say you could be a string through so you can put this on your keys or on a lanyard. This one is easier to put a string through because it is not one of those really small tight loops. In terms of scratching, this does not scratch as easy as say metal case thumb drives. The cap stays on pretty well however when you do not have any place to put the cap if you have the thumb drive open. You cannot put it on the back end like some thumb drives. I did do a test and verified that this thumb drive indeed has 250 gigabyte capacity and the transfer speed is not as fast as another thumb drive of similar specification. Again all varies as well on the port you plug into as well (if you are using 2.0 or 3.0. You have plenty of space to work with and transferring should not take too long, but you may be able to fill up 250 gb pretty quickly depending on the file sizes. For your average user, it will most likely take some time to fill up all the way unless you take a ton of pictures every day. Overall this is a nice thumb drive to have for storing pictures and videos but be aware with the sizes of videos and pictures you may actually fill this up pretty fast. Compared to other usb thumb drives, it has a super fast transfer speed. The only minor down side is that this thumb drive is a little thicker compared to many other thumb drives, but it makes up for it by have a decent transfer speed. The dark color is a nice touch but easy to scratch up.

It’s 232 GB… Just getting that out of the way.
Every drive manufacturer does this, whether you buy 1 GB or 1 TB, the size they advertise is the number of bytes in 1000’s not 1024, which is how the computer sees it. For this drive, it’s actually 250,044,481,536 bytes, which equals 232.87 GB. So as I expected, not a 250 GB drive. If you ever want to do the calculation to determine the approx size, take the advertised drive size “250” GB and put “000,000,000” behind it. That will give you 250,000,000,000. Now divide that by 1024, once to determine the KB, twice to determine the MB, and a third time to get the approx. true GB value. For a TB drive each TB is 1000 GB, so you’d start with 1,000 and put the 000,000,000 on the end. Do the calculation and you’ll find that a 1 TB drive is really only approx. 931 GB. Okay enough about storage calculation talk. So far I really like this drive for its high capacity, and compact size. I’m old enough to remember 5.25” floppy disks with 140 KB, so seeing 232 GB sitting in the palm of my hand is amazing. The drive was instantly recognized by my Windows 10 computer, and I used a USB 3.0 slot for best speed. Copy speed showed about a 70-80 Mbps transfer rate, and I copied about 20 GB in a little over 5 minutes. Keep in mind, the transfer rate is dependent on the disk the data is being copied/read from, and you are also dependent on the USB transfer rate. I felt it was pretty much on par with other flash drives I’ve used in the past in regards to speed of transfer. Several of the files I transferred to the stick were movies, and I was able to watch them directly from the stick without any lag or stutter. Of course initial testing and long term usage are two different things, so if something changes, I’ll be back to update my review.

Does not reach claimed speeds
This could not even remotely reach 1000mb/s. I used Crystalmark bench and it got at best 621mb/s writes and 570mb/s reads on a high speed USB 3.2 port that can reach to well over 1000mb/s on other USB drives. Styling is old school with a cap that's not attached (if you want that).

Seems to work really well. Downloads stuff nice and fast. Thinking about getting a second one

Decisamente consigliata.
