Millar GH9051PW Tempered glass hob with 5 gas burners white 90 cm

We purchased this item after wanting a change from the Stainless steel ect Hob and extractor set, after searching the net, we found this Millar 5 burner hob on Amazon, in the White glass version - now saying White, it is I suppose as near to White as you could get it in a glass material, it`s actually a light grey colour to be honest, but we also purchased a White glass Extractor made by Range-master, which is luckily exactly the same shade. Our gas engineer came to fit the hob and everything went well - our last hob was an electric ceramic one, and only 70cms in size, however this hob we chose - is the 90cms one, the worktop it sits in ( Quartz ) is a good long length, so I opened up the cut-out at each side a little, to take this larger hob, the gas engineer commented that he hadn`t seen one quite like this, and that he very much liked the look of it, we were also lucky in that we had a gas connection already behind the units from an original gas hob from when the house was built ( apprx 20 yrs earlier ) anyway after air-bleeding the system - the burners all lit-up very well and just to mention that the ignition is built-in to the burner control - which means you only need one hand to turn on and light the burner, leaving your other hand free to place your pan on the burner top. Another thing to mention is that the pans sit a little higher than we thought - although thinking about it - this should actually keep the burner area cleaner, with the bottom of the pan being a little further from the flame, which may prevent the amount of discolouring to clean, that you usually get from the gas hob cooking. We are very happy with our purchase, and as such we would recommend this Millar hob to anyone thinking about buying one, at the start of this review, I had given the item a 4 star rating - however now I`m at the end of the review, I can`t think of a reason not to give it the full 5 stars, so here they are, hope this review helps

I like everything about this hob. I gave it four stars overall because the background glass is not as white as I anticipated.

Vraiment très sympa, facile à installer et le fait qu'elle soit blanche c'est trop cool. Cependant la stabilité des support "fonte" des gaz ne me semble pas être au top...je cuisine vraiment beaucoup et c'est quelque fois gênant. Il faudrait peut être des genres de patins ou des ergots plus prononcés...

Il piano arriva ben confezionato con tutti gli accessori necessari al montaggio: guarnizione perimetrale, giunti e riduttori, staffette di fissaggio, guarnizioni, perfino una speciale spugnetta per pulire il metallo. A differenza dei prodotti nazionali arriva con una spina tedesca (di solito c'è solo il filo). I rebbi di sostegno sembrano molto consistenti, in pesante ghisa trattata per essere nera. I diffusori invece sono di metallo verniciato piuttosto sottile e la corona del diffusore, essendo in alluminio, dà un feedback di poca consistenza, ma credo sia solo una sensazione, potrebbe rivelarsi adeguato quanto l' acciaio, vedremo con l' uso. Le manopole invece danno una piacevole sensazione di consistenza. Velocissime le valvole di sicurezza, in un secondo o due sono già in temperatura. Il fuoco centrale è veramente potente e la doppia corona diffonde il calore in modo ottimale. Piacevolissimo il vetro con uno spessore che diminuisce verso i bordi, facile da tenere pulito e bello da vedere (molto più bello e pratico dell' acciaio inox). Per il momento mi ritengo veramente soddisfatto.

Très bien. Livraison rapide. La plaque de cuisson est très jolie et complète de tous les accessoires nécessaires. Buses pour gaz liquide, coude et arrivée gaz, joints, fixations et une éponge magique en plus.

Ho aspettato a scrivere la recensione dopo aver montato il piano cottura da alcuni giorni. Sono rimasto molto sorpreso dalla buona qualità del piano, il vetro in cristallo temperato e molto robusto, i fornelli di un buon disegno estetico sono ben distribuiti ed è possibile scaldare una pirofila con due fornelli attigui. le rifiniture molto belle. Il piano cottura nell'insieme rispecchia fedelmente la descrizione e i feedback degli altri acquirente. La presa per l'accenzione mi è arrivata di tipo europeo, tipo Siemens per l'esattezza e non inglese. Il pacco era ben imballato e messo in sicurezza. Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto di questo piano cottura per la qualità e il costo. P.S. per i pezzi di ricambio si può andare tranquillamente sul sito inglese del rivenditore anche in lingua italiana per ricevere l'assistenza post vendità e fare acquisto degli eventuali pezzi che si potrebbero danneggiare a distenza di tempo o acquistare eventuali accessori.

Mi sono documentata su questo prodotto perché il prezzo era veramente allettante rispetto allo stesso prodotto di note marche. Millar è un'azienda turca che distribuisce per lo più in UK. Cercavo un piano da 90 cm, non è cosa facile, soprattutto per i prezzi inavvicinabili! Ho voluto provare, certa che Amazon è una garanzia in caso di problemi. Ad oggi dopo 4 mesi di utilizzo, mi ritengo più che soddisfatta dell'acquisto. Se proprio vogliamo guardare il pelo, i bruciatori hanno una fiamma importante ma questo non limita la cucina, basta capire come dosarli. Lo consiglio vivamente e non solo per l'estetica che è notevole!
