Trespass Paddy Folding Camping & Garden Deck Chair - Foam Padded Seat, Steel Frame, Foldable Lightweight 3.8kg, H93 x W60 x D60cm

Bought first one for my octogenarian father, with Alzheimers, who was finding it hard getting out of chairs, to sit in our garden with. We all had those cheaper foldable camping chairs which hurt your bum/legs after 1/2 hour max. Dad liked this and could get up/down OK. We found it very comfy too, particularly compared to the others which nearly gave me an injury after an hour or so in the garden. (Ouch!) So we got one each. I can sit in this for an hour or two, with my arthritic back and hips, and just enjoy the day, because the chair is so comfortable I don't notice it. It folds up/down in one smooth movement and is very stable when fully opened out. It's very light and easy to carry, so ideal for taking to bottom of the garden or on a short walk to beach/picnic ground etc. For the money It's a very good chair. We've used it lots times this year for coffee or lunch in the garden. Much prefer to the cheaper ones that fold into a slim sleeve shape. So much more comfortable and suits our purposes perfectly. Recommended.

I have a couple of these. Main benefits are: 1. Pretty sturdy...I've used one of them extensively outdoors for over 3 Summers. Not had to tighten any screws etc and cushions have retained their structure and padding. 2. Very comfortable...certainly the most comfortable outdoor chair I've ever sat in at this price point and definitely more comfortable than basic camping chairs or traditional deck chairs. I've spent multi-hour reading sessions in them. 3. Value-for-money...My first one was about £44 around 3 years ago; then a couple of months ago the price had risen to closer to £70 (which I thought was a little to much), but then I saw them on a limited period sale price at around £35...absolute bargain! Only downside: Covers are not removable for washing, but they are relatively easy to wipe down and stand outside to dry.

This is a good quality well made chair. It's sturdy and heavy enough to withstand strong winds. However I have only given it 4 stars because disappointingly it is not waterproof, only showerproof at best. I have given it to my daughter as I have nowhere to store it. It is good value.

Very comfortable and high enough to make it easy to get out of (unlike others I have binned where my knees end up round my ears!). Only quibble is it could do with being a little bit wider for my big bottom! Love the colour and it is well made

Sturdy comfy lightweight & attractive.folds completely flat

Fed up of buying cheap folding chairs, needed something strong and durable and this chair has it in spades. Although priced at just under £40 these chairs are more expensive than others but it’s that old saying again “you get what you pay for”. They are extremely comfortable and any spills can be wiped with a damp cloth. The only down side is that they are a little heavier than the normal folding chair but you would expect that with a chair of this quality. In summary I believe this is a quality chair for a fair price ( so much so I purchased two) UPDATE, Had a manufacturers fault with one of the two chairs I purchased 3 months ago, sent off an email to the company, they asked for a photo of said chair, 48 hours later received a replacement, this is EXCELLENT customer care would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
