These are expensive, but so is visiting the physio and these seem to have really helped with my sciatica so I am very pleased. They are also built to last.

Excellent. Useful for home

I bought this item as a result of being lent one to try, by a friend. I have been searching for something that would support my back and not slide down the back of the sofa . This helps to give me good and comfortable posture when sitting on the sofa or any chair. I bought two so that I can keep one in the car for when visiting or going to public functions where the chairs are less than comfortable for my back. Nothing complicated and easily portable.

I use this on my favourite chair at home and it has greatly improved my posture

On the whole pleased with this product. The buyer was very helpful when the item did not arrive when stated. She kept me in touch personally, reordered the item and it arrived by return second time. It feels just a bit perched because it is different,(maybe should be a bit wider for me), but a very comfortable back support for a 90 min drive and gives a good driving position.

It didn't give the support I expected and didn't feel comfortable to use in the car. It didn't work for me on the sofa either as seat pad not deep enough The product was made well though and may suit others

This was recommended to us by a friend who has lived with back problems for years. He;s had HIS seat for about 20 years! My husband developed severe sciatica caused by a bulging disc and I also was experiencing an aching back especially as the seat in my car is well and truly past its sell by date. We've now got one each - it was the only support that helped him to sit comfortably, at home and in the car and we've both taken our seats to venues such as village halls, where seating can be very uncomfortable. They're easy to port, unobtrusive but goodness, they make SUCH a difference. Since buying ours, we've recommended them to other friends (even loaned ours out to try) and several people have bought them. A brilliant bit of kit!

Lacks lumbar support

I have been using a back friend in my car and in my lounge chair for years. This was to replace one that was worn. Best thing for lower back pain!

The seat and the back are both too narrow for most adult men. The overall quality appeared okay, but I had to return it because it was too small.
