poor cut
Very men's like style. Not at all feminine. Looks more like a potato sack, bad cut, no shape to fit a woman's body.

High quality and well made.
I ordered this for my daughter, and she had not tried on this style. It is a boxy fit, which she did not care for, as she would be using it for day to day wear and not Arctic exploration. However, I find the quality to be exceptional. It is the most beautifully made coat I have ever seen. Having grown up in Chicago, I know what features are important for cold weather protection. I was especially impressed that the hood was lined, and would be also very warm. The buttons are attached with cloth tabs and will not fall off. The fur attachment for the hood is on a semi-rigid frame, so the hood will not flop into your eyes when you wear it.

cant find the right canada goose
I cant seem to find a Canada Goose that I like! Here are a few features that I require: removable hood, form fitting, and pockets with the opening on an angle versus horizontal. I bought dawson, victoria and trillium. Dawson and trillium are both super heavy weight for arctic temps and have a roomy-boxy cut/not form fitting at all. i think both had removable hoods. the trillium parkas hood is made for an orgre as it goes over my entire face/basically has enough room for two heads.. they are both getting returned. i like victoria; it has a sleek / simple and form fitting cut, but the hood does not detach and i think its gonna bug me..... i am 5-6" 132 lbs. i do have broad shoulders AND i lift pretty heavy weights. this coat is pulling at my shoulders with t shirt on /downright tight with a heavy sweater. for the money, i dont think i can live with this either........ totally bummed.

Sizing is goofy!
Absolutely beautiful coat......but the sizing is way off! I purchased and XL which should fit me well and it wasn't even close to being able to be zipped up. Figuring that they may run small I ordered the XXL and it dwarfed me in how large it was. I can't figure it out. I wanted one of these coat for years. Finally able to afford it I was so excited to get one. I am so very disappointed and let down.Still in need of a good parka I bought one from Land's End (not down, but very warm) in XL and it fits perfectly. Then I went online and found excellent quality replacement coyote fur for hoods and I will attach with buttons to my parka (easy for anyone to do or bring it to a tailor). All at less than 1/3 the cost. Sorry Canada Goose but something is off with your sizing. If these were made in China I wouldn't have been surprised, but these are made in Canada.....don't get it.However if you want one of these the quality is EXCEPTIONAL (and worth the price) and maybe you'll be lucky and get one that fits you...if so lucky duck!

good quality item
That parka is good quality- however a bit big for me, when ordering take a bit smaller if you hesitate between 2 sizes!the minus: For such a product, its pitt there is no way to tighten the jacket at waist, and a scratch to close the cap.I look forward the winter cold to see if indeed it keeps its promise regarding warmness

Real Canada Goose? I doubt it.
[...]their website says that Amazon.com is not an authorized online retailer. But I didn't really believe it because, after all, it's amazon. Suffice to say, I bought one (and because there was a delay in shipping, I bought one from Bloomingdales.com -- was able to find one) and was very disappointed to find out that this was an imitation. How did I know? It was hard to tell, it looked almost the same. However the fur was SOOOOO different. Feel the difference. AND I wore both on exactly the same day within the hour. I felt the cold in this one! The other one (the real one) was so warm!If you're looking for a warm jacket, Canada goose is definitely the way to go! I can attest with this cold weather of late. But make sure it's real. I hope Amazon did not get fooled by a bogus seller...

Warmest coat for the coldest possible day I might ever encounter
Canada Goose is everything they claim, i.e. the warmest coat on earth. This winter I had to wear 5 layers everytime I stepped out my door and after one too many days of that I said enough is enough, I need a single coat that can keep me warm without any extra layers to struggle in and out of all day long - and so I did a google search for "warmest coat on earth" and ordered this level 5 coat. It's not exactly a stylish urban body-con outfit to strut the streets of NYC but when it's 10 degrees you're more concerned about pure pragmatic warmth and less about cutting a sleek profile. Besides, these days, the distinctive fox fur hood and the impossible-to-miss circle patch speaks for itself and seems to have developed a Canada Goose cache that overcomes it's "Professional Gear Arctic Explorer" look.

Five Stars
Excellent quality fast shipping! Runs a tad big but that's okay if you wear sweaters underneath.
