VetPlus Calmex Cat Stress Relief 60ml

This has been great for my cat. I recently moved homes and was at my whits end my cat was endlessly meowing and waking me in the night. I went to my vets for advice and they have me this calmex. After a few days my cat is totally calm. He loves the taste on his food and seems a lot more chilled. My only comment would be its a bit on the pricey side (the price was similar in the vet). However this outlays my sleep deprivation! I would recommend to any cat owner with a stressed pet

It smells herbal but when I mix it in with my cats food he doesn't leave a drop my vet recommended 1 and half in syringe twice daily for him or you can give straight to your animal too whatever is best My louie had been attacked from seaguls and was a nervous wreck going outside now we have moved hebis like a different cat feliway plugs in recommended by vet and this meds he is on second bottle ...poor wee soul has been through so much he is so sensitive ....i recommend this highly for your nervous fur baby ...I also purchased from here to try these collars never had then or any collar before and it's to calm them too they are lavender and camomile and wow what a lovley smell so it's all good with my beautiful fur baby thank goodness was such a worry

This was suggested by the vet to help with continuous licking and general calmness for the cat as he tends to be a bit aggressive towards my other cats - he's the last one in I've taken in (a fairly domesticated ex-feral). He readily ate the paste mixed in the food, yes, a bit on the thick side, but it wasn't a problem. The licking has reduced but I don't know if it's becuase of the plug-ins I have in as well. Not sure if it's a coincidence. This bottle will only last 2 weeks (as he's over 4.5kg in weight - under 4.5kg, the dose is halved) so it's a bit pricey to use daily. As for the aggression, I haven't noticed a noteable change. It was worth a try at least to see if it would be effective.

My cat was going through a series of urinary blockages which result in nights in hospital, invasive surgeries and, besides the horrible toll it takes on our cat, it’s also very costly. Calmex really helps us elevate the stress which can lead to urinary blockages and crystals in the urine. We tried to mix in with food but he rejected the food. We have to shoot it directly into the mouth. At this stage he just gives in and takes it. Would recommend to try. At the cost it is a safe gamble to take.

I got this for my cats to travel from the UK to the USA on the plane with me and they did so well this medicine really did work wonders for them. I would absolutely recommend and I will be buying this product again

The bottle arrived open and leaking. There is an airtight seal at the top that allows you to insert the syringe but this had been forcibly opened and the bottle was covered in oil, not the same consistency as the product which makes me think someone opened the bottle and refilled it with something other than the calmex. Pretty gross and had to go straight in the bin.

My 4 cats love this stuff 😄 They actually try to break into it if i leave it on the worktop. It also does appear to calm my anxious lad who suffers with constipation and anxiety.

This is the second bottle/jar I have purchased recently and found that solution solidifies afetr a few uses and need to add water which results in a very weak solution. No instructions on how one should progress and nothing shown on packaging indicating seller/telephone to speak to.
