Long before time had a name, Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master by using the Four Elemental Weapons of Spinjitzu; weapons so powerful, no one can handle all of their power at once. When he passed away, his two sons swore to protect them, but the oldest, Lord Garmadon, was consumed by darkness and wanted to possess them all. A battle between brothers broke out and Lord Garmadon was struck down and banished to the Underworld. Peace returned to Ninjago as the younger brother, Sensei Wu, hid the elemental weapons in the far corners of Ninjago. Centuries later, Lord Garmadon has returned with the help of his Skeleton army to collect the Golden Weapons. Sensei Wu turns to the aid of four young Ninja who are to be trained to become the protectors of each of the weapons. Although the Ninja successfully survive a harrowing quest to retrieve the elemental weapons, they fall into Lord Garmadon's master plan, releasing the dark Lord from his prison, and allowing him to escape through a vortex, with hope that he would one day return with the ability to possess all four weapons. Peace has returned to Ninjago, while the four ninja swear to protect and learn to master their Golden Weapons... Awaiting Lord Garmadon's return. This is the 6th season of Ninjago which features Jay heavily and his character exploration from being a bit of a whinge to be honest, into being the hero of the hour. It explores themes in a child-friendly way around 'wishing' for things and then how that can turn out to be worse than what you had beforehand. My 5 year old adores the villian of Nadakhan - a genie that loves to twist wishes around and cause misery to those he grants wishes for; once three wishes are expired he then captures the soul of the wisher inside his powerful sword. It features a host of sky-pirates which are characters in their own right - Clancy in particular sticks in my mind as a bit of a throwback to the earlier season's serpentine race. This season also addresses the growing romance between Nya and Jay, leaving Cole in his ghost form and out of the scenario. There is a range of lego toys to accompany this season that are all spectacular quality, we bought in conjunction with a few and all have been great - particularly Nadakhan's ship which was a two-hour build but countless hours of fun for the kids afterwards. Great season for Ninjago fans
My boys are Ninjago mad and I've always bought every season as it comes out on DVD so this was not going to be an exception, although I have to admit compared to the other boxsets I've bought previously this one looks seriously legit. Grandson Happy!
Bought for my grandson who is currently re watching the entire series on Netflix (except this series is missing from it?!) and he is happy with it so I am too! He says that this series is probably his favourite so was disappointed that it was missing from Netflix. Cheaper than other sellers so that's a bonus.

Hard to find pilot episodes
Netflix has all episodes of Ninjago - except for these four. If your kids are completists, then this is a good find

A must have if you've got season 1 to 7
Yes it's only 2 episodes but more importantly it's the 2 pilot episodes that tells the story on how the ninjas got to together, it's a great addition if you've got season 1 to 7

Misleading Image
A complete rip off the dvd does not match the image waste of money

Quite a short DVD
My 4 year old son is mad about anything Lego. This DVD though avidly watched is only 44 mins long (according to the box but it feels shorter to me) and something that I wasn't aware of when I bought it. It also only has 2 episodes on it. My son was definitely disappointed that it wasn't longer and so was I for the price I paid. 3 stars for the quality of the 44 mins, although had it been at least 2 episodes longer I would have given it 5 stars.

Received a movie for my son as a stocking stuff for my son's stocking stuffer and movie does not work

Mio figlio da anni li colleziona e gli mancava questa serie! Introvabile in versione italiana per cui ho acquistato l’inglese…. Ma sorpresa a noi è capitato ci fosse anche la scelta lingua italiana! Super fortuna!
