Works well in 2023 and 2025 Toyota Highlander hybrids
We have 2023 and 2025 Toyota Highlander hybrids, XLE models. Like many others, we have a large CD collection and could not play CD’s in either auto as CD players are no longer standard automobile equipment. We have been looking for a portable CD player for some time that would allow us to play through the automobile speakers. Neither Toyota model has an auxiliary port. The Posspo Jupiter CD player is a lifesaver and its setup couldn't be easier. It works in both cars. Simply insert the player’s USB plug into the dashboard receptacle. The CD player is not recognized by the car software until a CD is inserted. It is then recognized as a connected device. Simply select the device and CD player controls appear on the auto display screen. Steering wheel control buttons for volume and track selection also work well. The automobile software only displays track numbers, not the track names, but that is a minor deficiency for us. We are extremely pleased with the quality and functionality of this product and consider it to be worth every penny!

Works great in my 2025 Nissan Rogue SV
Before I purchased the Posspo Jupiter cd player I was concerned about compatibility issues with the infotainment system because the car only has 2 usb-c inputs(NO AUXILIARY INPUT). Reached out to the company through Amazon messages for my concerns. Support was outstanding and very prompt via email. Decided to buy it because of the many different connection options. Connectivity was very simple. Connected existing player usb to a Syntech usb-c to usb adapter, plugged it into usb-c(left input) in car and after about 15 seconds the USB1 lit up on touchscreen and cd started playing after I pressed it. Did not need any additional supplied cables. Only 1 WAV file(song track number) will display on touchscreen but it does play continuous tracks and will replay cd from the start. Can control tracks backwards and forwards on steering wheel. On this car player will not cut off because it is a continuous charge USB input and remote is designed to work for the AUX port connection and FM transmitter connection method. Purchased a Andtobo USB switch recommended by support to be able to cut the player off. You can also just unplug before you get out of car(I prefer switch). With that in mind you have to press USB1 on touchscreen each time to initiate player. Player fits perfectly in compartment under gear shift mechanism. I used 4 XCEL Neoprene anti vibration pads with adhesive 6" x 6" x 1/4" with 9 large rubber feet black bumpers for electronics(all purchased on Amazon of course) to raise player up facing drivers side to enable ejection and loading of cds. Well worth it to have a fantastic sounding(in my mind the best digital music media now and probably forever) cd player available to still use our hard earned spent money in cds in our automobiles. Thank you Posspo for still thinking about consumers needs unlike auto manufacturers. Shout out to Posspo support for their tremendous feedback and help for making my life better! Highly recommend this product to cd lovers everywhere.

Excellent value and Performance.
I'm very pleased with the sound and ease of use. The sound is crisp and the CD players transport internals work very well. I use this in a 2025 Subaru Outback. Subaru doesn't allow you to just use the USB port, you also have to use the Aux. plug. Once plugged in, just go to the Aux. setting on the music menu on the car control head and you're all set. The CD player is then controlled with the included control box. While this is not as easy to use as a vehicle that allows you to control the CD player with audio head in the vehicle, it's not the fault of the CD player. It's how Subaru has things set up. I was so pleased to find a CD player that worked in my vehicle as it did not come with one from the factory. I did not try the Bluetooth with this, but it should also work. I gave this CD player 5 stars because of ease of set up and sound quality. Also support from the seller is excellent. They quickly answered the questions I had.

Good unit had problems but a replacement was sent.
When I bought a new Toyota, I was upset that very few new vehicles come with CD players. I have an enormous collection of music, most of which is on CD and much of it is not available on streaming services. I hooked up the Posspo unit and it was easy to install and began working immediately. After a few days, CDs were occasionally skipping. This problem got progressively worse during the next couple of months. Also, CDs started to eject while playing for no reason at all. This made the unit unusable, so I contacted the company. After a few email exchanges asking me to try out a few things such as hooking up the Posspo to a laptop, I got another email stating that they were sorry for the inconvenience, and were sending me a replacement. 2 days later, it arrived. I started using it and the replacement is rock solid. No problems at all. It has now been 3 weeks and none of the problems from the original unit have occurred. The Posspo sounds great in the car and is easy to operate from the car's touch screen. I am happy that the company stood by their product. The only thing that I don't like is that there is a brief pause between tracks which is annoying if one track comes directly off of the previous one. This appears to be an issue with all new portable CD players that connect via USB or Blu Tooth.

Works perfectly in our 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab with the basic no-frills sound system
The POSSPRO Jupiter works just fine in my 2021 Tacoma! Our Tacoma is the 'base' version for the TRD Sport Double Cab 4×4 model, with no GPS (we have our own portable GPS unit) and only the base radio with AM/FM/Sirius/Bluetooth. Sirius radio charges a monthly fee for the subscription, so we don't use that, while the Bluetooth is dedicated to one or the other of our phones. The system's screen does NOT recognize the POSSPRO Jupiter right away when we plug it into the USB, and a CD must be inserted in order for it to recognize the drive. Then a message comes up at the top of the screen (also when we start the engine or the accessories feature if a CD is already inserted) that says, "Checking USB device. Please wait." The player is recognized a few seconds later and we can play the CD. All of the features on the Tacoma stereo work the same as always for balance, treble and bass. The screen for the player does not tell us the artist or track names, so we refer to the CD case for those. I noticed that the car stereo seems either to have read the CD into temporary system memory or remembers where it was stopped, as ejecting and then reloading the same CD (and NOT having meanwhile played a different CD) takes me to where it was when ejected and not to the beginning of the first track. Sound quality is as good as the system in our Tacoma can produce and better than FM, and it plays well so far not only with factory-packaged CDs but also with ones I've burned from ones we've bought over the years and keep in zipped cases for trips that include huge areas (we live in the western U.S.) with no radio reception, of which there are many. Photos are: Dash with player plugged in but no CD inserted, and USB not an active/illuminated screen button Dash with a CD inserted, and the USB recognized and the screen button active and illuminated The control screen I get when I touch the 'USB AUDIO' screen button, with Track01 playing The screen results I get when I touch 'Song List' screen button and, taken later, 'Checking USB Device. Please wait.' that appears when we turn on the ignition with a CD already inserted. The device also comes with a Velcro pad set to secure of in place, and ours fits best in the glove box and is secured there. Not wanting to be pinching the cord in the glovebox door, I drilled a 3/4" hole for the USB connector and routed the cord through the hole... that I'll be tidying up later today with a rubber grommet bought for that purpose. We're very pleased.

Will work in GMC Terrain SLE; works better in Dodge
Checked customer support first to see if this would work as advertised in a 2024 GMC Terrain SLE. Was told it would work if it had an AUX port. Tried it out and it works through the AUX port, but no info shows up on the vehicle infotainment screen even with the USB cable connected. You can still control the unit with the included remote. Yes it does work and plays cd's well. Tried it in a 2023 Dodge Durango Citadel and it worked great just through the USB connection. Track listings and cd control buttons are displayed on the infotainment screen. This is a lot more convenient than using the remote. It's real easy move it between vehicles (portable). Fits nicely in both vehicle center consoles. Customer Service very willing to help with questions.

AWESOME CD DVD
I ordered the POSSPO CD DVD player for my 2021 Toyota Tacoma truck because it does have a factory one. My wife said quite a few times that she was going to get a portable CD player for the back seat. I started looking and found this and liked the way it looks. I received it in good time and it was packed securely. I checked out the instructions and simply plugged it in the USB port and hit the AUDIO SOURCE AUDIO on the touch screen. Also included in the packaging is everything needed to use in any vehicle. It works really good and the sound is awesome as it uses the factory unit for sound. I am really happy with this product. I registered the product and was advised quickly that everything is good to go. Customer service also let me know that if I have any questions or concerns to reach out to them. It is good to know a company backs their product 100 percent. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a CD player for their car.

Successful addition of CD player to 2025 RAV5 using the USB connection method.
Works well as a CD player for 2025 Toyota RAV4. Connects to the factory's audio system via the USB jack in the dash. Control it using the Toyota's controls (except eject button is on CD player). I installed it vertically using velcro picture-hanging strips (see photo). Sounds good, easy to control. Comes with hardware to connect it (instead of USB) via phone jack (n/a for RAV4) or through FM radio receiver (FM solution was tried in RAV4 with a competitor's product with poor results). If you have RAV4, go the USB route. It is a little bulky (that cost one star in my rating) and so the only place to attach it in RAV4 is on one side of the center console or the other.
