Good for hiding greying hair Gives natural colour

This stuff is absolutely great. I was in hospital recently - half dead - really, and a nurse, having done her various nurse things to get me out of the wheelchair and into a bed (poisoned - don't try it at home - it really, really hurts) and as she left the room, thinking I was unconscious, said to herself "Oh God - what brilliant hair colour." True. My hair is kind of boring dark brown, and I noticed as it got longer - I'm growing it out - that it was a bit coarse. I'd done the 4 hours henna treatment before, and I figured that if ever there were a time, this was it. It doesn't dye your hair a uniform colour like a synthetic dye; it responds to the different colours in your hair slightly differently, so you get a great shimmering effect. I recommend that you turn your head suddenly in public, as often as you reasonably can, to get that great, shimmer going. It certainly works on nurses. Next time I was in - in much better condition - she came over and complimented me on it again. This stuff has powerful properties, so you might need to wear a hat sometimes, in order to prevent your adoring public from causing riots in the street - and you'll have an adoring public after a fortnight with this (auburn) stuff in your hair. Seriously - it looks fantastic, and after the full 4 hours, you'll feel as if you've had the best deep conditioning ever - mainly because you have. Fifteen quid for three packs - that's well worth it.

This was quite difficult to use but left my hair in amazing condition. I made it up with hot water (important) and then left it on my hair for over 7 hours under cling film!!!!! ( Very important to cover greys). The condition was transformed from straw to sleek and nourished and shiny! The brown colour I picked still had quite a red sheen so that was not quite what I wanted but will it use now and again to improve condition.

Easy to use and the best alternative to hair colour. Also, it covers grey hair.
